And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things which we command you. 2 Thessalonians 3:4 (Please read all of Chapter 3)
Are we doing the things Paul and the Apostles commanded the Church to do?
How much confidence would Paul have in us today, to do the things he commanded?

Obviously we should never make excuses for what God has commanded (in this case through Paul) but it is of benefit if someone somewhere sets the pace as Paul also did. He did not, nor was he expecting other believers to put into practice what he himself was also living out before them. Paul was the message he preached and so should we be as well.
Some very sobering commands herein, many of which we rarely find lived out these days, ie; proper separation. God honors our obedience to His commands, not what others only think is obedience.
