The church is a “body” a living organism — compare with our natural body, our human life, for it’s one of constant change, we could say that we are always doing what we need to do, and these needs vary from moment to moment, e.g one moment we are caring for the body, another time defending or safeguarding, another time doing preventative maintenance stuff, so much happening. – reactions , initiatives , …… but thru it all we should be learning and growing.
This explains the living nature of Jesus’ church : the leading of the Holy Spirit is something like the care we have of our own bodies, sometimes the body needs different things. It’s one long experience, facing different needs and situations and even crisis’. Us “being” the church and “doing” church together is as experiential as a day in anyone’s life, for if it’s not, then it’s a dead form, having no reality in relation to our Living Head.
The true leading of the Holy Spirit corporately in our gatherings is Him doing what He says needs doing, and what needs to be addressed at each moment.
As we enter the darkest days of history, it will be imperative that we are being what we are supposed to be and to be doing what we’re supposed to be doing, ordered by the Lord.
We understand there is a sovereign purpose for each of us in the place where He has put us.
We need to live our life in a “new and living way” : no two days, or two meetings will ever be the same — if our eyes and ears are open to the voice of the Lord, and what He wants us to do. It’s not about trying to be different at all. Such reeks of self-servingness.
It’s about knowing a Person, corporately, as His Body, and moving with Him.
Unless the Lord wants it done

Yes!!
We need the power of God in our lives and in our midst corporately or else there will be besetting sins and sickness in our lives that we have no power over .(and I don’t mean the ‘will of God’ kind either)
It’s the anointing in us both individually and corporately that breaks the yoke of the enemies oppression. We need this more than ever before!
So many are ‘on their own’ and the devil is tearing them up because they’ve lost connection with the body and are too ashamed to admit they are struggling or that they are on the brink of spiritual disaster. It’s not about ‘always’ sitting around and just just ‘talking’ in this hour, it’s about covering each others back under the anointing and power of God.
We’ve got to have it or the enemy will try to destroy us!

The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit is the LIFE of the Body of Christ.
A natural body is considered to be “alive” (and not vegetative) when it responds to stimuli.
When assemblies RESPOND to the Holy Spirit, moment by moment, it means that they are alive and connected to the living Head, the Lord Jesus.
“Life” indwelling works the response to stimuli and every function.
Are assemblies today representative of living organisms, or are they comatose or vegetative audiences, the life being suppressed?
