When we see the authentic grace of Christ in a person, then we know we have met one who has been saved by grace, thru faith : a true brother or sister to us.
The one who has been saved by grace will extend grace to all, even to the enemies of Christ, yet, we can’t expect all who hear us to be able to perceive the grace of God which is in us, for as it was with our Lord, so it is with His disciples.
We need to have our hearts established in grace : settled there with Jesus, who finished the work of redemption on the cross and has risen and has sat down at the right hand of the Father. Only grace profits us.

Thanks, Ian… I’m in a very hard situation right now where I need to be very ‘grace-ful’ toward someone. Thanks for this very timely reminder!

Hi Jamie
I think we all are in the same situation.
Saw a brother here yesterday exhibit grace in the face of provocation that was nothing short of “amazing grace”. Inspiring.

This article – ette was inspired by a brother i’ve met here in Perth, who i have seen extend grace and only grace in the face of severe provocations – i’ve taken note in my spirit – already i’m different just by spending time with him – the Body ministry – up close and personal with the different gifts to the Body of Christ, not just listening to what they say, but being with them – impartation (in the right sense, not the wrong sense).

I agree so much with how hanging out with certain believers imparts more life into us — and miss that in my own life right now.
God had more things planned for you in “oz” than you realized, eh.
It’s usually after being in the valley a little while that new life and growth springs forth. God is such a good Father to His children!
