At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be reckoned to them.

But the LORD stood by me and strengthened me,

so that through me the proclamation might be fulfilled, and all the Gentiles might hear, and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 2 Tim 4:16-17

Oooooh, this is so important that it is OUR reality in these last days; that regardless of what happens the LORD stands with us and strengthens us.

Are you strengthened daily by Him alone? Do you share Paul’s testimony here?

It doesn’t matter how tough our cross is, we are called to serve Him, to live for Him. If we are living for ourselves we will fade away in the heat of the day, the heat of the battle, we will bow out, opt out.
