Don’t know about you, but i often get old rock tunes from the 70s and 80s play in my head, like a juke box. Songs that i used to like before Jesus called me out of darkness into His marvellous light. They’re not satanic type songs, fairly harmless, and i tune them out by the Holy Spirit, bcos i choose not to clutter my ‘server space’ with that stuff, nor waste His time.
One thought i had yesterday about this, which i’ve had before, is to realize that one day soon we will never hear these tunes again – for all eternity, they will be forgotten. And this applies to all the things of this world, and every idol : it has an abrupt end, and it will be forgotten forever, so don’t get too attached to anything which will soon be forgotten forever.

Since i made this post on the 16th there’s been a significant change, barely any old rock tunes playing in my brain, it’s like the radio in my brain got it’s signal weakened. Did someone pray?
