The whole point, ultimately, is love

Now the whole point  <telios, end >  of the commandment <gospel> is love out of a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to futile talk… 1 Tim. 1:5,6

In other words, the whole point of the Gospel, the Word of God, the Kingdom of God, the Holy Spirit, the new birth, is love out of a pure heart. The word is telios : the ultimate end result, the whole reason, the finished product as God intended.

In other words, all of God’s dealings with us have this goal, this intention, and therefore, all these dealings should TRANSLATE into love. That we would love as He intended for us, as He loves.
