thru my children, i prayed last night when i woke up in the middle of the night. That they will be men and women of God is the only honor i want in this life.

Father God, I pray for Ian and his children. You have heard his heart’s cry for them to grow up to be women and men of God. Instead of honoring him as he asks, I ask that YOU be honored through him and His family. I don’t know anything about this man, Lord, but you do. He appears to be a brother that desires to speak truth and honor You with his life, with his family, with his words and with what ever you have called him to do. Give him and his wife your wisdom on raising their children in the way they should go. May their family be covered in your peace and nothing be able to seperate their love for one another. May Your love overflow in their life in such a way that there would come great fruit from it over flowing into the lives of those around them. Bind him and his wife together as one and may nothing be able to seperate the love you have for the two of them and the love they have for one another. May the children honor their parents that their days on earth would be long. Father, help Ian to be a dad who is able to always listen with his heart for his children. Let it be in such a way that they will run to their father and mother in everything that touches them. Keep them from evil and lead them not into temptation. Cause this family to always be as one in union with You. May they all glorify you from the oldest on down to the youngest. These things Lord will bring You the glory. And in doing so will fill my brother’s heart with joy. Have your perfect way with them and be glorified in the family of Ianvincent from generation to generation, forever and forever. I ask these things in Jesus name, that your complete will be done in each and every one of them. Amen.

When God honors a person: when it is truly God doing it, it is never at the expense of His honor.
Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God gives you.
Our prayer is that this will be fulfilled in our children, and we acknowledge that this can only happen by grace, that’s why we pray they will be children who honor us, that Jesus will do it in them and the Father be honored.
They’re getting grown up now, and they do bring honor to Jesus and to us, for which we’re very thankful.
