So PC that one’s brain becomes redundant

O signed the “Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act” into law on Thursday. The bill extends the definition of federal hates crimes to include attacks “based on a person’s race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or mental or physical disability.”

It is a stupid law bcos the motivation for assault or bodily harm is irrelevant, apart from when it’s a case of self-defense. What if i go and punch a guy in the nose, and then in court plead, But i’m not racist! or whatever, and the judge says, O well, that changes everything! We won’t slam you with the Hate Crimes Bill then! If you do violence to anybody, their color or whatever is irrelevant to the seriousness of the crime. What is it, 2yrs for attacking a white man and 4 yrs for attacking a black man?

Or, when the Imams in every mosque in every city in the western world lead the men in prayer every Friday that Allah will destroy the Jews and Christians – Is that an expression of hate? A threat, a hate crime? Is O going to have them all arrested, and then hand himself in for sympathizing with their hate crimes? And theirs is REAL hate  –  real killing hate. Islam is like the Hotel California – you can never leave. If you do then your dead.  But that under lying reality is not considered ‘hate’ by the likes of O.

Is there any political leader left in the western world who is not an idiot? Not your village idiot type, but moral fools.

When will we ever learn

that His power is made perfect in our weakness?

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2 Cor 12:9-10

It seems we learn this, then apparently forget it, then relearn it again, but in each new dealing with the LORD we emerge stronger than before.

It seems amazing, but true, that only weak people listen to God. Only they listen to what He has to say.

If we’re in a tough place, what else is there but to hear what Jesus our LORD has to say to us? Is there any ‘thing’ else? Is there any ‘thing’ greater than Him speaking to us?

Money and miracles

As money is the authority in the world, so is raw supernatural power the currency for much of christendom. An ‘in your face’ miracle trumps truth in these times. Money is also a principle authority in christendom, but miracles trump it. In the world, money answers all things, is the last word;  whereas, in the church it is miracle power which is the last word.

That’s why so many identify with William Branham, even those whom Branham would have detested if he had met them, like Todd Bentley. Branham went ballistic even if a woman would have  a haircut. What would he say about Todd’s tattoos? Yet Bentley claims to carry Branham’s mantle. They overlook his rants against worldliness and denominations and just hang onto the miracles. Whatever false things he taught, these are eclipsed by the miracles. Which is a sign of things to come.

I’ve been thinking lately why God withholds great miracle power these days, in general. There are sincere saints who could walk in signs and wonders, but perhaps God knows that it would destroy them, they just wouldn’t be able to cope with the pressures and popularity that would follow. People just aren’t equipped to handle such things, it often leads to ruin, both of the preacher and his audience/followers.

Worthiness: even to be allowed to suffer for Jesus’ name we have to be found worthy first. If we are found worthy of His name then we are given the honor of suffering for His name. The same principle also applies to many Kingdom things; many are just not worthy of it.

Yes, everything God does; every expression of His power and saving grace, is a miracle, in one sense, but Biblically, supernatural miracles are signs and wonders which accompany the preaching of the gospel.

Salvation is THE GREAT miracle. True miraculous power, as manifestations of God’s mercy, not a show, not entertainment, should lead to the great miracle of salvation. God is still the miracle working God. There will also be great lying signs and wonders in the last days.

Come up here

Rev 4:1  After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.

I love that. Come up here.  Soon we will be called up there and we will see what John saw – who John saw.

In the mean time, we are already there, in the Spirit.

Our ‘cathedral’ now is actually the throne room of God. This is where we meet, as His Church, at Jesus feet.

A transitory life

…For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from which they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he has prepared for them a city. Hebrews 11:14-16

God is not ashamed to be called their God bcos they seek the heavenly city. If their hopes are in this present world then it stands to reason that God would be ashamed of them.

We are transitory, and the world is transient, a vapor which appears and then vanishes.

We want the real

and no one can take that from us. Yes, we”ll be patient with believers and fellowships if they live far below Jesus Christ’s perfect will and plan, yet we still want the real – the way it’s supposed to be, and no one can take that from us.

If you want the real then are you against us? No. We are not against people, we are against the false belief that we should accept as normal that which dishonors Christ and is far below God’s glory and intention for His Church, as revealed in the NT.

Change comes when the ‘grassroots’ saints are revived and empowered by the Holy Spirit and take their responsibility seriously.

Is God a he, a she, or an it?

If we start at the beginning we note that God made men and women in His image; the woman being made from the man, yet still in the image of God. This means that womans femininity actually comes from the man, and from God. Women also have a degree of masculinity too, yet the issue is the clear distinction between the two, which God ordained.

Acknowledging that femininity has it’s origin in God and then man, is one thing. To confuse gender is another.

Jesus and the Apostles always spoke of God in male terms. Some may mock them and say that they had a limited understanding, confining God to only male attributes and ignoring the feminine, but that’s bcos they don’t know what true masculinity is to begin with: that true masculinity has feminity as inclusive.

See, some take certain scriptures which talk about God ‘mothering’  to try and prove that He is genderless, yet a man can be mothering as well, especially if he has to, when there is no mother in a family. The man’s motherly role doesn’t make him less of a man, neither does God’s ‘mothering’ cause us to doubt His Fatherhood, and Christ’s Sonship.

The only spirit that objects to God as Father and insists that God be related to as a genderless ‘it’ is an evil spirit.

On God’s ‘maleness’ : Jesus is the only begotten Son of God from eternity. Before He was incarnate He was the Son with His Father. Where’s the gender ambiguity there?

Only a demon takes exception to this, and they do, so vehemently.

The spirit behind the gender confusion in liberal ‘theology’ is the same filthy spirit which confuses young people about their gender, and justifies homosexuality.

Are you seeking the Kingdom daily?

But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matt. 6:33

Yesterday, in practical terms, how were you seeking FIRST the Kingdom of God? How do you understand this? How is this evident in your life in real terms? Is there a conscious seeking of His Kingdom first in your life and fellowship?

To neglect prayer

is to neglect God. The fruit of that neglect is evident in the leanness of a person’s soul.

Wherever He rules

…is where His Kingdom is. Let Him rule over you and in you. Let Him rule your thoughts, your words, your actions. Let Jesus rule the deepest place of your heart, and know that this is what you were made for and redeemed for, and rejoice with great joy.

God is not improving this world

It would be helpful for us to be reminded of the special nature of this dispensation, which embraces the period from the ascension of the Lord Jesus to His coming again; and it is well for us to be reminded (since it is a tragedy that the Lord’s people have not been continually reminded through the dispensation) that in this age – in this dispensation – God’s main concern with this world is to take something out of it… and not to do anything with it nor to have anything in it as of it.

Until we have become clear on that matter, we shall be confused on all other matters in relation to the Lord: as to His work, His purpose, and our life in fellowship with Him.

The Lord is pre-eminently occupied with the taking of something out of this world.  All the rest is but a preparation of this world for judgment.  When that activity of God is finished in the taking out of the earth, then the judgment of this world will take place.  So that all the ideas about improving this world and setting up something of God in it as of it – establishing something here for God – are false ideas and will lead into a great deal of error… and, in the long run, to disappointment.

When you know that He loves you
