Believing prayer and waiting on the LORD

quickly dispels ALL the clouds of discouragement which come. Black clouds can’t hover for long over such a person.

Was Joseph a victim? No

Gen 45:8   So now it was not you that sent me here, but God:

Gen 50:20 But as for you, you thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Was Joseph a victim? No. Neither is any blood-bought child of God in Christ, who obeys Him, a victim of circumstance.

The earth is reeling, and who will be next?

People have gotta realize that God is calling the world to repent.

The wonder of knowing Jesus

and His Father. Don’t ever lose that.

Call me ol fashioned, but i believe that

every person ought to pray always and not faint.

The manifestation of the Spirit

1Co 12:7  But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every person for profit.

1Co 12:11  But in all these works that one and same Spirit, dividing to every person individually as he will.

When we read this chapter it’s apparent that church is supposed to consist of manifestations of the Spirit, as He wills. That’s what a NT church is, period. When we have gathered in Jesus name and these verses are fulfilled, that is, there are manifestations of the Spirit thru various saints, to edification, then we can say that we’ve had church.

Did the Holy Spirit manifest thru the brethren present? If so, you had church.

Where man’s tradition and control suppresses and even bans the manifestations of the Spirit thru whom He wills, then it’s not a NT church, yet. Bcos it is to challenge Jesus’ headship over His church, and to reject His rule over His people. That’s what it means to suppress the gifts of the Spirit in all the brethren.

George Soros went to Davos

and warned investors about a coming bubble in the gold price. Then after the conference he bought up big on gold.  This is symptomatic.

Endless arms treaties and economic accords are drawn up and tinkered with between Russia, NATO and the west, and the world. The assumption made in making a treaty is that those signing it are honest and will keep their word. What a stupid assumption, knowing human nature.

Giving your day to God as an offering to Him

Father, let every day i live be an offering of worship to you. When i close my eyes to sleep at the end of the day, let me rest in the knowledge that this whole day has been an offering of worship to you, in Spirit and in Truth, a sweet smelling aroma to you.

It’s interesting that the spirit which controls the world

is the spirit of anti Christ, and it is not anti anyone else.

It’s not the anti Mohammad spirit, or anti Buddha spirit, or the anti Pope spirit, or anti Hindu spirit, or anti any guru; it’s SOLE objection is to Jesus Christ, alone.  Glory to Jesus!

Being led by the Spirit

and being taught by the Spirit, is essentially the same thing. Which is why those who live for themselves are not taught by the Holy Spirit, even though they may think they are. The person whose heart and spirit is not yielded to obey the LORD in everything can never hear His voice.

Wisdom is the train tracks on which knowledge runs. It’s the ‘delivery system’ for the knowledge of God. Here, we often mention the need for  ‘practical wisdom’. What use is spiritual knowledge if someone’s life and family remains a mess?

Dead to what Christ Jesus is dead to

and alive to what He’s alive to  : crucified and risen with Christ. Isn’t this such a key and vital truth?! This is the way of righteousness.

The wrong way is if we become alive to what Christ Jesus is dead to, or dead to what He is alive to.

Part of the wisdom of having a free NT church

is that no one can criticize. If a person doesn’t like the teaching that comes forth they are free to bring the correct teaching, bring the balance. A free NT church means people are free to do that. Of course, they may be able to articulate what they perceive is wrong or lacking with the teaching, but they may not be able to, themselves, make up for what they perceive is lacking and give the correct teaching. If that’s the case, then it’s they who face a dilemma, not the church.

Koinos Soteria – The Common Salvation

Jude 1:3, Titus 1:4, 1 Cor. 10:13

There is nothing in your life experience with Jesus that is not commonly shared with ALL who are His : Both the blessings and the difficulties. Yes, our situations are different and we have different giftings, BUT the experience of our faith and salvation is the same, by the same Spirit and the same Word of promise; the same Savior, our LORD Jesus Christ.

We all find ourselves on the same journey, together. We all face the same temptations:

There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man… 1 Cor. 10:13a

We need to know that our ‘case’ is not a unique one. We can sometimes feel that we are the ‘odd one out’  – everyone has it relatively easy compared to us; or, God forbid, that we would think we have special revelation and experience with God that is not common to all His saints: the common salvation.

Faith befitting The King

Requisite faith: faith which is appropriate toward the King of Glory. That’s the faith we should have, for our faith is in Him.

Reducing God and magnifying man

is the essence of the spirit of error. This lie is put to death at the Cross of Calvary.

On Thankfulness

Giving thanks for my lunch today i had a revelation. The reason i give thanks is bcos i did not earn my lunch, nor did i do anything to deserve it. It is solely the kindness of God. He wasn’t under any obligation to give me lunch, but He did. He doesn’t have to do anything for anyone, but He does. He didn’t have to love the world and send His Son to die and redeem us, but He did.

Then you think what it would be like if He didn’t give you lunch, and you were starving, and if He actually gave you what you deserve and have earned? Makes me think of the Cross.

“Saying grace” can be a celebration of Amazing Grace.

Be bold at the Throne of Grace

Don’t ask miserly or be timid in what you ask for. Be bold! Liberal! Generous asking! Ask for great things! Good things! Give your Father in heaven no rest, day and night.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Grace to help, for ourselves and our brethren.

New Wine

And he spoke also a parable unto them; No man puts a piece torn from a new garment upon an old;  otherwise, then both the new makes a tear, and the piece that was taken out of the new does not match the old. And no man puts new wine into old wineskins; else the new wine will burst the wineskins, and be spilled, and the wineskins shall be destroyed. But new wine must be put into new wineskins; and both are preserved. No man also having drunk old wine immediately desires new: for he says, The old is better. Luke 5:36-39

The new wine is the Holy Spirit given in the New Covenant, and the old, the Old Covenant. The new wineskin is the new creation, and the old, the old man.

That which is of Jesus and glorifies Him is the new and everything else, the old ; that is: old hat, yawn material. This world, the things of the world and it’s principles are old hat, it’s past it’s use-by date; it’s a bore, compared to the new. It’s dead. Paul said:

But God forbid that I should glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Galatians 6:14

The merchandisers and entrepreneurs of the Christian industry are always trying to pass off the old as the new. The ‘new thing’ is really the same old yawn.
