But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26
But the anointing which you have received of Him abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as He has taught you, you shall abide in Him. 1 John 2:27
What did He teach you today, or this week?
When your child comes home from school and you ask, What did you learn today? What if they say they didn’t learn anything? It would show something is wrong.
Wonder how many of us have sat at the feet of the true Teacher today and leaned something from Him? I think that’s a key, that we truly come to Him as our Teacher, earnestly desiring to be instructed by Him in His Word, in the Way in which we should go.
…And even as He has taught you, you shall abide in Him.
The nature of His teaching concerns our abiding in Him. It relates to abiding.
The Teacher knows what we need to learn from Him today. Are we willing to be taught by Him?

He teaches us all things WE NEED TO KNOW, and the source of this Truth is the Scriptures (that’s what this text says).
Things that we don’t need to know, and things which are not in the Scriptures, are not taught to us by this great Teacher, the Holy Spirit.
Those things may be taught by men, or by our own minds, or by demons, but not by the Holy Spirit.
