King David spoke about the joy of his salvation:
Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with a free spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways; and sinners shall be converted unto you. Psalm 51:12-13
Do you have the joy of your salvation? Or, like David, do you need to ask the Father to restore the joy of your salvation to you?
The simple but profound JOY OF BEING SAVED from your sins, from your old nature, and from God’s just judgment, and translated into the Kingdom of God’s own Son, is the CATALYST and DRIVING FORCE in us to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and see sinners converted unto Him.
Consider just how GREAT His salvation is! So great a salvation (Heb 2:3).
How could the freed captives hide their joy and not tell those still in prison that the prison doors have been busted open by the Death of Christ?
Unashamedly tell the world how great it is to be saved! How great it is to know Jesus! How great it is to pass from death to life!

Amen Ian, Many claim to be Christ’s but refuse to talk about Him or runaway from conversations about Him. He should be the first thing on our mind and heart! God Bless brother!

Thanks bros. I don’t know why it’s so easy to fall into a place where, even though we know how great His salvation is, we come short of expressing to others the joy and wonder of being saved. Before going to preach the gospel we should perhaps really take stock of our own salvation and ask whether we have the exceedingly great joy of His salvation, and if we do, then preach from that standpoint. When people hear us they should pick up that this guy is really glad and thankful to God that he’s saved.
