Spiritual Reality

Would you like to take a trip to heaven and see what it’s like? Would you like to see the Father, and His Son Jesus seated at His right hand? To see Him shining brighter than the midday sun? To see the twenty four elders and the living creatures and the multitudes of angels? To see our brethren who’ve gone there ahead of us?

It might be “interesting”, right?

But cmon, let’s be honest, very few are really interested, right? Bcos if they were their life and message would be so different.

Authentic grace and faith in Jesus Christ SEATS US up there with Him.

Even when we were dead in sins, has made us alive together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;) And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus… Ephesians 2:5-6

This is the authentic Christian life: a life lived seated with Christ in the heavens and yet with our feet grounded in the realities of life on earth.

We’re going somewhere. Ask others to also come along to glory rather than go to hell.

Encourage the brothers and sisters to come boldly to the Throne of Grace and stay there, praying without ceasing.

The Holy Spirit is sent from Heaven: He represents everything Heaven represents: He represents the Holiness of the Holy Father in Heaven. He represents The Son of God, the living Word of God: He represents the Glory of Heaven: He pulls men and women Heavenward. He causes us to look up to Heaven (just as Jesus looked up to Heaven and prayed) and He empowers us to pray right into Heaven where we are heard – He is our connection to Heaven in the Son, where there is no distance anymore, we are joined. He fills us with the hope of Heaven.

If we do that, then they would change and be useful in the Master’s hands.
I once heard a man discussing how boring heaven was likely to be without all of the things we enjoy here on earth. Somehow, I don’t think that individual will have to worry much about that, seeing that he isn’t likely to end up there.
Can any real believer who has touched the reality of the living Christ be entirely satisfied with anything less than Him? God forbid we allow anything to compete with or supersede our devotion to Him- here or there.
