The life of Jesus is the life of His Church. The mission of Jesus is the mission of His Church. The standards of Jesus are the standards of His Church. The truth of Jesus is the truth His Church. The holiness of Jesus is the holiness of His Church. And this all bcos He and His Church, His body, His people, are one in Him.
