DARKNESS WHICH MAY BE FELT

“And the Lord said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even DARKNESS WHICH MAY BE FELT. And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”
(Exodus 10:21-23)

This was a foreshadowing of Hell. How can darkness be felt, unless it is spiritual darkness? We can be sure it felt bad, and not good. Must have been scary to be stuck in pitch black darkness and to FEEL the darkness enveloping you, to feel the fear: for fear to take on a sensory dimension. This is a glimpse of Hell, for Jesus described Hell as the “outer darkness”. It is your worst nightmare, and much more.
