Out of the many words which proceed daily from our mouth i wonder how many of these  are addressed directly to God?

Access

Faith is access to God and sin is access to satan, so be careful whom you access.

The knowledge I’m interested in

The only kind of knowledge I’m interested in is how to live a life fully pleasing to the Lord.

Of course, I’m interested in knowledge of the nature and glory of God, and yet God reveals this to us to help us live for Him.

Enthusiasm

It’s easy to be enthusiastic about something when the Holy Spirit inside you is.

When the King is your personal friend

Kings have friends and enemies, and the King of Kings is no exception.

You may be closer than you think

If you know you need reviving by the Lord then you may be closer to that reviving than you think.

Pure

Purity simply means no mixture. Unmixed. Blessed are the pure in heart… A pure heart has no impurity within, it is an undivided heart, where nothing contrary to Jesus is accommodated, nor can find a place there.

Brexit

Brexit reveals a trend toward polarization in western nations, populations neatly divided down the middle.

Perfect Peace

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you. (Isaiah 26:3)

What they don’t need to hear

Many institutional church pastors: The devil distracts you by giving you sermons to preach which are simply NOT what the congregation needs to hear – what Jesus is NOT saying to them. The devil doesn’t mind if you preach anything other than what they need to hear.

The Lord will reject them

If people reject the word of the Lord, the Lord will reject them. See 1 Samuel 15:26.

When people despise His word, they despise Him. See 1 Thess. 4:8

Influence of pride

The pride of man is usually a common factor in Christian interaction and dialogue. It’s rare to find a man whose way of thinking and belief-system is not unduly influenced by his fleshly pride.

Unresolved sin

Unresolved sin is the nature of the unrepentant, still in rebellion against God.

Value friendship

Value friendship, but don’t sacrifice the truth for it.

Already Blessed

If you trust in the Lord you are blessed by Him. If you are trusting Him you are blessed, you’re already blessed, there’s no time delay for the blessing to arrive or begin, you’re blessed already, you are in a state of blessing, you are a blessed person.

“Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.”

(Jeremiah 17:7)

A message from God

The indwelling Holy Spirit is God. Any communication from Him, even a whisper, is a message to us from God.

Appearance

“Abstain from all appearance of evil.” (I Thessalonians 5:22)

So, even appearance matters. Even the appearance of evil is to be avoided.

If cool means an appearance of evil it’s better to be uncool.

Degrading

Sin degrades people, so we understand why, in many places, life is cheap.

Appointment with God

You have an appointment with God. No one can avoid it, but people try and imagine it won’t happen.
