Oh yeah, Jesus is into justice, He’s gonna personally take care of it when He returns.

Justice
August 30, 2016Paradise Lost
August 30, 2016I think every man has an innate sense there’s something wonderful out there, but it’s out of his reach, the feeling of paradise lost, that he was created for something great, but he falls short of it, that there’s something incredible, and he’s missing it.
Did you know that everything man lost, the Man, Christ Jesus, restored?
Abba, Father or daddy, papa God?
August 30, 2016If you don’t like the Bible
August 29, 2016If a person ever finds themselves not liking things in the Bible, if they honestly ask themselves why they don’t like it, the reason, and answer themselves honestly, then they’ve identified the wall or barrier separating them from God.
Setting the mind
August 29, 2016For they that are of the flesh do set their mind on the things of the flesh; but they that are of the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
(Romans 8:5)
Building
August 28, 2016If we are not building our life on the word of God we are building it on a lie.
Sharp enough
August 28, 2016The word God is such an incredibly sharp and powerful two-edged sword that it doesn’t need to be wielded with much human zeal.
Clever comments
August 28, 2016It’s easier to make clever comments than to offer Godly wisdom, and the person who tries to be clever is unlikely to receive the wisdom of God.
First love, first works
August 28, 2016“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast LEFT THY FIRST LOVE. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and DO THE FIRST WORKS; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”
(Revelation 2:4-5)
If we find ourselves loving Jesus less now than we did at the first, He tells us to do what we did when we first knew Him.
Payroll
August 28, 2016Would never trade being on God’s payroll for being on man’s payroll, pandering to the pride and vanity of man, not in a million years! He pays so much better, as is the sweet sleep of a clean conscience.
Praying in faith
August 28, 2016Praying in faith is to get real and come into reality with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Control
August 28, 2016Dare i say, most of Christendom functions by control, by false authority, and this fact alone tends to keep many thinking people away from “church”, while the naive don’t know or don’t care they are being used or controlled.
Time and Intelligence
August 28, 2016The first genius was the first man. Adam was a genius from the day he was made, he was made that way. Intelligence was a gift from God, not something man evolved. Adam was not a savage, they came later.
In the modern world people are not smarter, they’re simply standing on the shoulders of those who’ve gone before.
What did people do with their spare time before the technological, mass media, internet age? I assume they spent a lot of time thinking, praying, reading and talking with family and friends.
If the passage of time is not marked and noted we tend to lose the value of time, it slips thru our fingers like grains of sand, and we tend to lose the significance of our place or position in history, and the fact that what we do today will also, one day, be only a memory.
How much rest do we need? Enough to get the job done, in that proportion. They’ll be enough time when our work on earth is over to rest in heaven.
Notes on Romans 8
August 28, 2016“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
(Romans 8:28-30)
Justification by faith is the doorway to the eternal Kingdom of Christ.
“…Whom He justified, them He also glorified.” (Vs 30b)
Justification precedes glorification.
A true Christian will be glorified by being conformed to the image of God’s Son.
This is how God will glorify man.
God became a Man and lived among us. Because of His incarnation and atonement man can now be in union with this Man, Jesus Christ, who is God.
So God can now glorify man IN the Man, Christ Jesus, by conformity to His image or likeness.
Our glory is to be like Jesus. This is our glorification, not a glory separate from Him.
So, when God glorifies man He also glorifies His Son.
So, the eternal Kingdom of Christ, the Kingdom of Heaven, is where the subjects of the Kingdom are conformed to the image and glory of the King. This begins happening the moment we are justified by faith, for it’s then our glorification begins.
“…We know that all things work together for good to them that love God…” (Vs 28a)
It’s no coincidence all things work together for good for true Christians, for if it’s so it must be due to someone making sure all things work together for good, it shows a guiding, providential hand in all circumstances encountered by a true Christian.
Now, all things are working together, coordinated or orchestrated together for good to the end that they help us be conformed to Christ and therefore glorified in and with Him.
Functioning units
August 21, 2016Local churches were always meant to be functioning units of the Kingdom of Christ.
Creator – creature relationship
August 21, 2016Here is the story of the human race: There was God, and then He made some men and women for Himself. Like, “I’ll make some people!”, and He did.
Now, how would you feel if you were God, and you made some men and women, but they turned their backs on you and didn’t want you?
Words fail to describe it.
It’s the height of insanity for the creature to turn away from its Creator.
How can we creatures turn to our Maker and say, “I don’t want you!” ?
Rule out any other option
August 21, 2016Do you have any other option than to trust God? Rule out any other option as null and void.
What’s wrong with this statement?
August 21, 2016What’s wrong with this statement?
“There’s no such thing as a word of God that does not WORK”
Things can be put to work but no man puts God to work. The word of God is living and powerful and yet it’s not a thing, not a tool, not an implement for man’s use.
If i buy a lawnmower and it works well i’m using a thing quite separate from the man who made it. The man who made the lawnmower has no connection to my using it, as when i purchased the machine it became my property to do with as i like, nothing to do with its maker. I don’t need to call the maker of the lawnmower each time i want to use it and inform him, for there’s no relation between the lawnmower and its maker. It’s a thing, an object, a machine.
Now, things, and only things, can be used as such, and it’s only of things which we can say, “It works!’
You cannot say of God’s word, “I tried IT out and IT works!” Only a totally spiritually bankrupt person, totally blind, would say such a thing.
Talk about pagan superstition, talk about witchcraft!
Another thing regarding the word of God “working for you”: the assumption is that the individual is the center of the universe, and they’ve found something which works FOR THEM. “The word of God will work for you!” : the assumption being, you are the center of the universe, you are greater than God in that, now, God is working for you: you are the center, and God is your butler.
The correct way to view the word of God, the inspired scriptures, is that they are living and powerful, authoritative, WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF ONE’S RELATIONSHIP TO GOD, within the context of one’s faithful, loving submission to God’s will, glory and purpose in Christ.
But if, however, one removes the word of God from this, God’s purpose in speaking, they are actually trying to “use” God’s word in an idolatrous manner. Only idols can be “used” for man’s purposes, God never will. So, it’s a very clever deception, then, and one which could “nearly” deceive the elect if it were possible, for it “uses” the holy word of God, but in so doing, excludes God and deifies man. The people who push this doctrine have seared consciences: they are only about money, mammon is their god, and yet their conscience doesn’t twinge when they have the audacity to say, “Jesus is Lord!”.
False teachers can say, “Jesus is Lord!” with all confidence, since it is not the Jesus of the Bible they serve, it’s “another Jesus”, so, they are saying that their false christ is “Lord”. Jesus is Lord, yes, but which “Jesus” are we talking about: the “money Jesus” or Jesus of Nazareth? Paul warned emphatically that “another Jesus”, a fake “Jesus”, would be presented to people.
It’s pagan superstition to say or imply that God’s word “works” for people – that they can put IT to work for them.
And it’s here where the simple-minded or naive trip over, for they assume anything where the Bible is quoted must be to do with God.
IN CHRIST
August 21, 2016Being IN CHRIST is the ultimate. Nothing can compare with being IN CHRIST. Having the whole world in your hands or everything the world can offer is nothing compared to being IN CHRIST.
Statistics
August 21, 2016Probably, the number of people dying of starvation right this minute exceeds the number of people angry about it.
