The reality of faith

In Hebrews 11, the faith “hall of fame”, each individual’s faith is known by what they did, by their fruit, and by what they didn’t do, by what kind of life they lived: they lived by faith, they overcame great difficulty by faith, the text says over and over again.

Faith, then, is measured by what we do and don’t do, not merely by what we think or say: not merely an interior, private state of being separate from our actions.
