Participatory

A participatory church is one where Jesus Christ participates thru each member of His body, it becomes an expression of Him ā€“ Him, living and working in His people, which is the way it was always supposed to be.

There could be two reasons why a church is non-participatory:

a) The leader feels it would undermine his role, authority and his goals, ambitions if anyone was allowed to contribute.

b) The people are spiritually weak, so they have nothing to share, nor the faith to speak out.
