Consequences of faithful prayer

“That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.“ (Ephesians 3:16-19)

This is Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians. Do you think the Father answered this prayer, and this actually happened in the lives of the Ephesians, that, after Paul prayed, they were actually strengthened in their inner man by the Spirit, that Christ really became manifest to them in their hearts by faith, and their comprehension of the love of Christ increased more and more, and they became filled with the fullness of God?

I believe God gave exactly what Paul asked. And, do you think if YOU or I ask the Father to do the same thing today for our brothers and sisters He will do it?

It’s well worth considering the enormous, eternal consequences of faithful prayer.
