I think living by faith in Jesus is the most exciting thing a human being can do.

Exciting?
February 28, 2017Getting your theology from a scammer
February 28, 2017You got your theology from a man who scams 30 million dollars just so he can have his own jet? We need to lovingly deconstruct this dodgy “theology”, this house of cards, and reconstruct with Scripture in context.
Conscience and clarity
February 28, 2017The person whose conscience is right with God thinks and speaks with clarity.
Idol worshiper
February 28, 2017The person in love with themselves, or fancies themselves, is an idol worshiper.
It’s not Islam
February 28, 2017“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”
(Matthew 24:24)
You know that Muhammad did no miracles, right? And you know that the elect could never very nearly become Muslims, right? So, then this text does not refer to Islam, so we take it from Jesus’ mouth that Islam is not the most dangerous thing for Christians, it is false Christianity which is far more dangerous than Islam: people who do great miracles IN JESUS NAME but their life and message draws people away from the REAL Jesus.
What is more offensive?
February 27, 2017I find the violence, the hatred, and the violation of the most basic human rights, emanating globally from Islam to be far more offensive and insulting than anything Donald Trump has done so far.
He will take care of it
February 27, 2017You never have to fear the consequences of doing what is right in the sight of God, He will take care of it.
Takes time
February 27, 2017According to the Bible, faith grows, and things take time to grow.
From heaven to earth?
February 26, 2017From heaven to earth? Reverse migration?
There are twenty four elders before the Throne of God, and they say:
“…And [you] have made us unto our God kings and priests: and WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH.” (Revelation 5:10)
So, those in heaven now will soon be reigning on the earth.
“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:5)
God-kind of beauty
February 26, 2017Holiness is the kind of beauty God really appreciates, because it’s His own kind of beauty, the God-kind of beauty.
Love
February 26, 2017A repost:
Our love for people is firstly how we pray for them.
Christocentric
February 26, 2017You will never ever find a Christocentric preacher or teacher who merchandises God’s word or masses personal wealth from his “ministry”, for if he did he would no longer be Christocentric. In every case where these things exist the message is Anthropocentric: man is at the center, and Jesus Christ an accessory. Look at any of the memes of TV preachers and you’ll see they all say one thing, they say if you do such and such, or believe such and such, it will be good for YOU. YOU are the center. YOU getting what you want is the center. Check it out. Compare with scripture. Their message is worthless. Stick to reading the Bible.
A futile game
February 26, 2017A comment i made on “spiritual warfare”:
The main error is when they read “we wrestle with principalities” they think it means we have to go after the principality, track it down, identify it, wrestle with it, then send it somewhere else (so it can bother people somewhere else?!! ) but “wrestling” with principalities actually means when they come against us we can “stand“, “having done all to stand, stand” ….. we get the victory in our personal life.
So, the person “chasing the dragon” has already been deceived by the dragon, it’s a game the devil plays with them, and the Christian wastes their life doing futile things.
Unembarrassed
February 26, 2017Totally unapologetic for God’s Word, then you’ll find you won’t need to apologize to God for being embarrassed about Him.
A tangible life
February 26, 2017Christians become, in real life, the embodiment of what they believe – their faith becomes tangible in the way they live their lives.
Conscious of the grace of God
February 26, 2017Pride is that state where one is not conscious of the grace of God, for one can only give God all the glory, and keep none for himself, when he is aware it is all the grace of God. If there’s no glory for oneself, and it all goes to God, then there should be no basis for pride, unless of course they pride themselves even in this.
The Holy Spirit’s church?
February 25, 2017The church, the assembly, is Christ’s church, and it’s also true to say it is the Holy Spirit’s church, and it will truly be Christ’s assembly to the extent it is the Holy Spirit’s assembly.
Let’s approach our assembling together this way, that it is the Head of the church, Jesus Christ, whom we come before, and the Holy Spirit is the only one who can empower, teach the Word of God, speak and guide His church.
Jesus said He will build His church/assembly, and the only instrument He uses to build it is the Word of God by the Holy Spirit’s gifts.
There must be a common, corporate understanding that the Holy Spirit is leading the church, as per the order described in 1 Corinthians 14.
Workers and their work
February 25, 2017Paul called himself a “worker” and disciples “workmen” (his name even means “worker”).
What work will you do in the Lord today, and will you accomplish it?
(a rhetorical question, please don’t answer)
Shifting the goal posts
February 24, 2017You kick the ball, it’s sailing toward the goal, then they move the goal posts and say, “Ah, ha! You missed!” : This is what it’s like trying to dialogue with a dishonest person.
In their mouth is no deceit
February 24, 2017
“And in their mouth was found no deceit: for they are without fault before the throne of God.”
(Revelation 14:5)
There is no double talk. There is nothing you need to read between the lines.
They lay it out just as it is. No clever devices. No scheming, Nothing shrewd. No hidden agenda behind what they say. They’re not peddling anything. They’re not fishing around for praise from men. They’re not manipulating others to get them to do what they want them to do.
There’s no deceit in the mouths: it means they could never deceive you about anything, they never say one thing but mean another. They are straight down the line honest.
There are no word games.
They are not politically correct.
They are not purposely offensive, either.
