An easy life

An easy life is actually one of the great dangers a Christian faces.

Immeasurable love

God’s love is so immense it’s as if all his love is directed toward you alone, as if Jesus laid down his life for you alone. It’s such immeasurable love.

Shaped and conformed

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word which proceeds from the mouth of God”

Every true Christian’s life is shaped daily by every word which proceeds from the mouth of God, conforming them to Christ, so that there’s not one aspect of their life which is not being conformed to Christ by the truth of his words.

They truly live by his word, not just by food.

When the truth of God’s word is LIFE to us, more than food or drink, this means we are in the right place in relation to the Lord Jesus Christ.

When the devil tries to be the savior

The coming New World Order is a counterfeit of God’s Kingdom. The Bible has always maintained that there is only one Person who can rule the world, and he is Jesus Christ, but then the world comes to a similar conclusion, that there needs to be one person ruling it, who has the authority to end all conflicts, end poverty etc. but the catch is this person is the devil. See Rev. 13.

Courtroom

Facing God’s Law is like facing God’s courtroom, and you find out that YOU are the accused, who is condemned by the weight of evidence as being a breaker of Gods Law, you find yourself as the condemned, but then, facing the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ, you see there is ONE who bore your penalty and paid the price for you, and He calls you to come to Him, and you are freely pardoned, no longer under any condemnation.

Holy fear

Understanding that the LORD is perfectly righteous and just in his judgments is a vital aspect of knowing the holy fear of the LORD.

I commented on FB:  Perhaps the foundational issue here is “commitment to at least a few believers”, what we would call “real life fellowship” or “genuine friendship” — this has to be the bottom line, for nothing is real if this is not the basis of a gathering/eklessia/assembly/church. As the apostasy gathers momentum there’s fewer who are committed to anyone else, in reality.

Where prayer begins

Real prayer begins when you believe God hears every word you pray.

We are dust

“Like as a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.” (Psalm 103:13-14)

He knows we are dust, but do we?

Rational line of thought

One thing which characterizes all cult or aberrant “Christians” is they can’t follow a rational line of thought. But an honest person can, even if he’s uneducated.

If you were God

Now, if you were God, wouldn’t you arrange to have the words you had spoken written down and recorded in a book, and to make that book available to all the people of the earth? Because, otherwise, how will they know what you have spoken? And, otherwise, they may imagine that you spoke things which you did not speak, and therefore have a totally wrong concept of who you are, even making a god out of their imagination, who was not you, but a fake. If you were God, and you loved the people you had made, wouldn’t you want them to know you? And how can they know you if they don’t know what you have spoken and revealed about yourself? And if you were God, and you did great things, wouldn’t you like to have those things written down so that all generations know what you have done?

Attractive

Living forever in a beautiful place with Jesus and his people, this is extremely attractive to some of us.

The center

Jesus is the center of everything.

True Christianity

True Christianity is to be true to Christ and his word.

The hard way

Do human beings only learn things the hard way?

What to be ashamed of

Only be ashamed of sin, and nothing else.

That is, don’t be ashamed of who you are.

Conformity

Conformity to Christ excludes conformity to anyone else. This is a healthy spiritual body, the members joined to one another, but each one conformed to Christ, alone.
