Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

    Acts 15:10

  2. ian vincent Says:

Therefore I judge that we should not trouble those from among the Gentiles who are turning to God, 20 but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood. 21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

  3. ian vincent Says:

God obviously requires us to obey the moral commands of His law, and yet He also requires us to acknowledge that we can’t save ourselves by trying to be good, but to submit to the righteousness of God imputed to us by faith in His Son.

Because doing what’s right does not erase all we’ve done wrong.

Do righteousness, live righteously, but in the knowledge that you have no righteousness of your own.

And also, the person who disregards the moral law has shunned Christ, and therefore is not a partaker of His righteousness.
