What do you see?

April 20, 2019

When you see a picture of Jesus on the cross, what you should see is God reconciling you to Himself.

Within our being

April 20, 2019

Something I read today made me think, the biggest problems we face are within our being, not external.

Credibility crisis

April 19, 2019

The “Christian leader”, or anyone, for that matter, who says homosexuality is not a sin means they have no moral objection to it, so, if they don’t participate in it it’s solely because they don’t desire it, but, if anytime they felt like doing it, their conscience would be free to do so without any shame, because they have no objection on moral grounds.

These kind of questions should be put to these “leaders”.

This is why no Liberals have any credibility.

The more the difficulties we face, the more time we should spend in prayer.

April 18, 2019

Just remember today to be careful not to say anything which insults the Christian faith, and have a nice day!

Our greatest treasure is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our next greatest treasure is His people.

If you lose sight of your goal, you won’t attain it.

What you need

April 18, 2019

One of the great revelations of the Christian walk is you find that you don’t need stuff which you always thought you needed.

What the world offers

April 18, 2019

The world has nothing to offer a Christian, but a Christian has a lot to offer the world.

The right to be offended

April 17, 2019

In the politically correct wars, does any one particular group have the right to be offended?

And if so, why is it only they who have the right to be offended?

Dark places

April 17, 2019

Where the Light of the World is suppressed, obviously, it’s a dark place.

Spirit of the world

April 17, 2019

The spirit of world religion and philosophy is the spirit of antichrist, and this spirit has only one enemy, the Jesus of the Bible, and His followers.

Single minded

April 16, 2019

Surely, the heavenly mind and the worldly mind can’t be the same mind?

Judgment behind us

April 16, 2019

“Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”

John 12:31-32

That crucifixion was the judgment of the world.

Jesus was taking the punishment for the sin of the whole world.

This means, the final judgment is based upon what we do with Jesus Christ.

So, judgment is behind us, if we believe, or ahead of us, if we don’t believe.

This is very Good News.

Your God

April 16, 2019

“The thing which most consumes your thoughts is your God.”

~ Paul Washer

April 16, 2019

Christians believe the Bible is God’s word.

So, when the Bible says something is a sin, they believe it is a sin.

That’s all.

True Christians don’t hate anyone.

And when a Christian points out what the Bible says, it’s wrong to assume the reason they are doing so is because they hate you.

Elcho Island

April 16, 2019

Was reading about revival on Elcho Island with the Aboriginals. Got me thinking about how they live there. I don’t know what they’re doing, but I would guess it’s a pretty simple life, more like basic survival, not many big plans. And yet their inter-relating, as families and community, is so significant to God.

Westerners have lost sight of this.

Weakness is always a great opportunity to look to the Lord for strength.

Commented on Facebook:

The REALITY is that any or all of scripture can be shared in a non-judgmental manner.

Yet no matter how loving you are, the message may still offend.

And “loving” is not measured by a soft, effeminate voice, but by real concern for the person’s life.
