Commented on Facebook:

Apostles ordained elders in every church, such as we see in Titus.

These elderships were autonomous and independent.

Though obviously connected to other geographical churches.

Here is a problem today in following scripture precisely.

Precisely, the same thing should happen today.

But we find the majority of people claiming apostleship today are false apostles.

So, what do we do?

Do we fall back on man-made traditions, such as hierarchical systems?

Or do we judge, from our understanding of the truth of scripture, who true elders are, and work together relationally?

I opt for the latter.

Also, what’s the point of searching for “lost” teachings of the Apostles if we don’t obey their most basic commands for the church?

It smacks of religious delusion, to me.
