When God agrees

In the final judgment God agrees with the judgment each person has made about God.

He’s right

Some people think Jesus was right.

 

Actually, there’s quite a few.

Idols

All forms of idolatry are to do with illusion.

When we see things as God sees them, then idolatry dissolves.

Can’t wait

Heaven is a physical place. It has the same precious stones as found on earth, according to the Book of Revelation. It’s like a super luxury hotel of staggering beauty, wealth and opulence.

 

Gold, the most precious substance on earth, which, down here, men fight and die for, is, up there, used for the road and footpath, the great idol of earth is there put under our feet, a deeply symbolic meaning.

 

And what will you feel when you arrive in Heaven?

 

When you see Jesus you will perfectly know how much He loves you, and you will perfectly love Him.

 

You will see the Father. You will be overwhelmed to know you are His child.

 

You will know this is where you belong, forever.

 

Question is, are you going there?

In denial

To deny God exists is just as futile as trying to deny that you exist, because He made you.

Bible prophecy

 

 

We sometimes hesitate to share things on Bible prophecy because:

 

1. It can be a cause of division or strife between brothers.

 

2. It often attracts the carnally minded Christian and wastes time with foolish arguments.

 

Yet, still, why would God give Bible prophecy if it’s a taboo subject?

 

God gave Bible prophecy so that:

 

1. When it happens we can glorify His sovereign power.

 

2. When it happens we won’t be discouraged, because we know God is in control.

 

3. So we can be prepared.

 

4. So unbelievers can be convinced the Bible is indeed the word of God.

Thought about thought

Quote:

 

“Supposing there was no intelligence behind the universe, no creative mind. In that case, nobody designed my brain for the purpose of thinking. It is merely that when the atoms inside my skull happen, for physical or chemical reasons, to arrange themselves in a certain way, this gives me, as a by-product, the sensation I call thought. But, if so, how can I trust my own thinking to be true? But if I can’t trust my own thinking, of course I can’t trust the arguments leading to Atheism, and therefore have no reason to be an Atheist, or anything else. Unless I believe in God I cannot believe in thought, so I can never use thought to disbelieve in God.”

 

Just the suggestion that thought, emotion or consciousness randomly or accidentally developed by atoms or molecules arranging themselves together in a certain way is STUPID in the extreme.

Endless life

He that’s a new creation in Christ is recreated for another world, a glorious, endless life.

Bruised, but not beaten

The New Testament likens a disciple of Jesus with a prize fighter. Now, such a one learns how to roll with the punches. If he’s bruised, he knows the wound will heal quickly, and he’ll be back in the ring. He accepts it as part of his profession.

 

Likewise, if you’ve been emotionally bruised and beaten because you preach the gospel, roll with the blows. It’s normal for disciples to get bruised. The wounds will heal, and you’ll be back on your feet. They heal faster if you pray for those who inflicted them.

New Era

This is the era of the non-thinking Christian.

Ideology and religion

Tell me how following an ideological framework is essentially any different to following a religious framework?

New Covenant

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”

 

Jeremiah 31:31-34

 

1. Jesus said He made the New Covenant by shedding His blood and dying.

 

2. It is made with Israel. Whoever believes is then grafted into Israel, and into the Covenant God made with them.

 

3. The New Covenant was established 2000 years ago. You can still enter it today by faith.

 

4. Salvation is to enter the New Covenant by faith. You can’t make an agreement or deal with God, you can only accept and agree with what He has already established.

 

5. The Bible says Christ died for all. Whoever you are, the Covenant has already been provided for you, you need to only believe it and start living in it by faith. You don’t need to beg God to do something for you. You need to believe what He has already done for you.

 

6. The signs someone has entered the New Covenant s they personally know the Lord, and His truth is engraved in their heart and mind.

Triune

The Bible says God is one God, and also that there are three distinct persons in Heaven.

 

Jesus said He came down from Heaven, where He was with the Father eternally.

 

When He came down, God’s throne in Heaven was not vacant. The Father was there.

 

When Jesus ascended up He said He sits at the right hand of the Father.

 

When Jesus bodily returns to earth there will still be the Father sitting on the throne in Heaven. The Father is not returning.

 

Ultimately, the Father, Son and Spirit are together with His children forever.

 

Glory!

Cathedral

Cathedrals, temples and suchlike are supposed to remind people of God, but they’re man-made, so no chance of that, rather, go out in nature and you’re in a God-made cathedral.

Megachurch

Would you ever see a megachurch that has no band, platform or lights, but a group of elders, and perhaps two or three scripture songs are sung, then two or three elders share from scripture, and do verse by verse studies, and after that any one can come forward for prayer or counselling…. something like that.

 

True Christians would be attracted, and nominals would go elsewhere searching for a “worship experience”.

Problems and answers

Some only see the problem.

 

Some only see the answer.

 

Fewer see both the problem and the answer.

Only one pattern

Only the New Testament pattern of church acknowledges, in practice, that all the saints are equal in Christ, that all equally share the same Holy Spirit, and that all have gifts of the Spirit. No other church pattern demonstrates this in actual practice.

Judgment

Approval and disapproval are both moral judgments.

Informal

Jesus’ life and ministry was the epitome of informality.
