In Heaven we’ll probably all have the same intelligence, so be careful who you call dumb. 😀

Hard, but not impossible

Jesus said it’s very hard for a rich man to go to heaven, but it’s not impossible.

 

When a celebrity comes to the Lord it’s gonna be hard for it to become all about Jesus and not about them, but it’s not impossible.

What faith is not

Faith is never about helping God out, as if He ever needed some help.

Revelation of the word.

That God’s word is God’s word is a revelation of the Holy Spirit.

 

God’s word says God will engrave His words into the hearts of believers by the Holy Spirit.

 

So, when they read the written word of scripture it’s already written in their heart by the Spirit.

 

Those who don’t have the Holy Spirit don’t have this supernatural revelation that all scripture is God’s word.

Confused

One big issue with Christians now is they often think someone with a big mouth has the Holy Spirit.

Us?

When we pray the Lord’s Prayer it’s very significant whom we understand the “us” is.

Absurdity

It’s absurd to think DNA arranged itself together by chance, from nothing, with no purpose.

External

A cultural “Christian” is externally a “Christian”, but not inwardly, not on the inside.

Everyone

Every true Christian who has ever lived has undergone the life-long process of sanctification. So, you’re not alone.

The message

Without Jesus you have nothing.

 

With Jesus you have everything.

 

This is the message of the New Testament.

Prophets and Teachers

Generally, prophets bring just the right truth of scripture to our attention at just the right time, and teachers help us understand scripture, leading to application.

 

There’s nothing about either gift, in its true, God-given context, where you become dependent on the person or under their control or authority.

 

That’s because they are appealing to the authority of scripture, which means it is between God and the hearer of His word.

Judged by the Word

Interesting, considering the doctrinal wars going on, that at the Judgment Seat of Christ we are judged by the Word of God, and not by the word of our favorite Bible teacher.

 

Christians will be judged by the Word of God, Jesus said.

 

This means God expects and requires everyone to understand and heed the Word of God for themselves.

 

What John Macarthur or Beth Moore said will be irrelevant.

It’s not going to go well with those who read the Bible but didn’t heed it.

 

Missing out?

Why would someone who has everything in Christ feel they are missing out?

Don’t miss out

Jesus said, I go to prepare a place for you.

 

A place where you’ll never grow old.

 

Where there’s no more politics, no more religion.

 

A place where sin does not exist.

 

A place where everyone perfectly loves, and knows they are loved.

 

Don’t miss out.

Who can see?

If you can see Jesus, you can see.

 

Otherwise, not.
