Dominionism

Commented on Facebook:

If we handle the scriptures loosely, and misapply them, pull them out of context, then, which “kingdom” are we really building?

To apply that text to house church seems to be dominionism.

That’s the belief that the church will conquer and take over the world, and everyone becomes Christians.

But which Bible are they reading?

Maybe, because of their own fears, they are only seeing what they want to see in scripture.

    Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
    That the mountain of the Lord’s house
    Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
    And shall be exalted above the hills;
    And all nations shall flow to it.
