Some questions

Here’s some questions for Christians:

A. Are there any specific scriptures which prove that the Jewish people will, for a time, think that the antichrist is the Messiah?

I know from Daniel 9:27 that the antichrist makes a covenant with the Jews, but does this prove they think he is the Messiah?

B. And, if it’s true that scripture points to the Jews accepting the antichrist as Messiah, wouldn’t that mean the antichrist must be a Jew? (Because the Jews would never accept a Gentile as Messiah)

The reason for these questions is because of the current belief amongst orthodox Jews that the Messiah will be revealed any day now.

And we know, by the words of the true Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, that the Messiah won’t just turn up on the news one day shaking hands with world leaders,, but will descend from heaven with indescribable power and glory, and all the world will see it.

Another anecdotal consideration is that the Muslims are expecting a “Jesus” to return, who will convert the world to Islam.
