Humanizing effect

One would hope the terrible suffering in the world would have a sobering and humanizing effect, making us more compassionate.

Hidden revival

I believe there’s a revival going on right now all around the world in a multitude of homes, as people are locked in with God, seeking Him, and as backsliders come back to Jesus.

Nothing that anyone believes changes what God has determined will happen.

Power

The Holy Spirit living in me is more powerful than all the demons in the world put together.

Certainty and uncertainty

We have got so used to living with a fair degree of certainty, but we should remember that the overwhelming majority of the inhabitants of this planet over the last 6000 years lived with no where near the amount of certainty we’ve been privileged to have, until now.

Shock

The moment after people die they will be so deeply shocked to discover they’re still “alive”, and nothing really has changed, they are still the same person, and they can see and feel, think and talk, and everything is just as real as it was moments before when they were alive, but without the freedom they had only a moment before, as they will be taken to either heaven or hell, because during their life they had decided where they want to spend eternity.

 

Jesus taught this. Luke 16:19-31.

Sidetracked

Commented on Dylan’s latest release:

 

The song shows again Dylan’s brilliance as a poet.

 

Yet, if he still professes to follow Jesus, I think he’s been sidetracked.

 

I’m looking at it from what I believe to be a Christian perspective.

 

Yeah, great poetry.

 

But, ultimately, meaningless.

 

And I sincerely pray he comes to realize it soon.

This is the time of Christians getting SIDETRACKED.

 

The devil doesn’t care where he sidetracks you, just as long as you are sidetracked.

Getting our attention

What does God have to do to get man’s attention?

 

Does He even have to take away the food?

 

Think about it.

 

In light of eternity, even the most painful lessons are worth it if it means men will humble themselves before God and repent.

 

And, in eternity men will appreciate that God was extending mercy to hardened individuals to break their pride.

What’s it like?

Who really knows what it’s like to stand before the Throne of God?

 

Those who are standing there right now.

 

The rest of us will find out soon, relatively speaking.

Reality check

The greatest reality check is the moment you realize the Bible is true.

Unreality

When Christians say,

 

“I release God’s blessing to you now, I release healing to you now.”

 

Or, “I’m releasing the Kingdom of God right now!”

 

That’s phony.

 

It has more in common with witchcraft than genuine Faith.

 

It’s rooted in pride.

 

Its acting as if you are God.

 

God must be taking notes, waiting for you to release Him, uh?

 

You could be totally detached from reality, but still get some kind of spiritual giggles and goosebumps.

 

And God has had enough.

God Factor

True Christians are always aware of the “God factor” in any or all circumstances they find themselves in.

 

They don’t deny physical and natural realities, such as a virus, but there is another much greater factor at play, the “God factor”.

Fear

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31)

 

Holy fear is not the terror of facing punishment.

 

It is simply the reality that happens when a mortal man truly comes into contact with the true reality of the GLORY of the immortal God – when the finite encounters the infinite.

Happy to be proved wrong

I believe the rapture happens some time after the antichrist and the mark of the beast.

 

But if I’m wrong, and the rapture happens tonight, I would be so very happy to be proved wrong.

Showdown

In calls for a global government, just imagine the leaders of the world superpowers all getting together amicably to work it all out.

 

Ain’t gonna happen.

 

There has to be a massive showdown first, and the winner will be King of the World, unfortunately.

 

History always repeats. The leopard can’t change his spots.
