So, there is our Heavenly Father AND our Heavenly Mother??

He sometimes seems to say good things, but then, as in tweets such as these, becomes Satan’s mouthpiece to the world.

Not fit

May 25, 2020

“But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Luke 9:62

So, the Christian life is described here like a man having his hands grasping a plow, plowing a field.

If he is distracted from fulfilling his work then he’s not fit for the eternal Kingdom.

He reads us

The Bible is the only book which reads the heart, mind and conscience of the reader.

Christian, we all, theoretically, know the Bible concept of being “led by the Spirit”, but do we all truly live in the fullness of this reality?

For example, a believer is in a bind about how much time they use for social media.

The issue is, are you led by the Spirit? Is the way you use your time indicative of you following the lead of the Holy Spirit, for His Kingdom purpose?

If we are an instrument of the Holy Spirit we should certainly know when we are not living as His instrument.

Now you see it, now you…

Even the most amazing lifestyle this world can give is very, very temporary.

On the horizon

“Most Jewish-Orthodox scholars reject any attempts to build the Temple before the coming of Messiah. This is because there are many doubts as to the exact location in which it is required to be built. For example, while measurements are given in cubits, there exists a controversy whether this unit of measurement equals approximately 1.5 feet (0.46 m) or 2 feet (0.61 m).[citation needed] Without exact knowledge of the size of a cubit, the altar could not be built. Indeed, the Talmud recounts that the building of the second Temple was only possible under the direct prophetic guidance of Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. Without valid prophetic revelation, it would be impossible to rebuild the Temple, even if the mosques no longer occupied its location.” unquote

The true Messiah is Jesus Christ, and He is not returning to rebuild the Temple.

But the Jews believe the Messiah will rebuild the Temple.

So, in their eyes, the one who is able to rebuild the Temple must be the Messiah.

So, all Satan has to do is get his man to rebuild the Temple, and then they will think that Satan’s man, the antichrist, is the Messiah.

And Satan’s goal has always been to get people to worship him when they think they are worshipping God.

Question: What entitles Christians to believe the Christian faith is the only way to God?

Answer: Because Jesus said He is the only way to God.

And His whole message centered, focussed and hinged on that truth.

It was the whole point of His life, death and resurrection.

It was the whole point of who He claimed to be: the only begotten Son of God.

And there’s no way you could study the gospel record and come to the conclusion that Jesus was teaching all religions or faiths lead to God, and that He was just one of many ways to God.

Christians believe Him.

Its not something they made up themselves.

The true Christian faith was not created by Christians, but by Christ, Himself.

It wasn’t their idea.

What is there to stop it?

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition…”

“…And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”

2 Thessalonians 2:3, 6-7

Note, here, that the “falling away” and the removal of the “restrainer” is the same event.

The apostasy (apostasia – falling away) of Christianity means the restraining force against evil is no longer there.

As Christians compromise they have less and less spiritual influence.

They are no longer salt or light in the world.

Christians who’ve succumbed to evil can’t be a restraining force against evil.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. 11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

1 John 5:9-13

A. The main thing to understand about Jesus Christ is that God the Father is the one who verified or authenticated Him. We need to take notice of what God the Father has said about Him, both in word and in power, by raising Him from the dead. Jesus Christ is the only figure in history not self-authenticated. For example, Muhammad, and such like, were purely self-authenticating. People just took THEIR word for it. There was no authentication from God. We believe Jesus’ claims because we believe the Father’s testimony about Him.

B. Therefore, the situation man finds himself in is one of either believing what God says about Jesus, or impugning God as a liar.

C. God has given us eternal life, past tense. This eternal life is nothing less and nothing more than the LIFE of Jesus. Because He lives, we live. He is the Vine, we are the branches.

D. To have the Son is to have eternal life. It is personalized. It does not say that eternal life is some kind of spiritual force or even an experience. And it is certainly not a religious affiliation or accreditation. It is a Person. If you have this Person you have eternal life.

Is God pleased with my faith?

May 22, 2020

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Hebrews 11:6

Therefore, if you have faith then you are pleasing God.

Notice the second half of the verse.

Genuine faith believes that God rewards the person who diligently seeks Him.

So, here faith is also defined by diligently seeking God, and without this it’s not faith.

So, faith has to do with a judgment we make concerning God’s nature: Is He a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him?

Is this what He is like?

If you are convinced He is, then you have faith.

And… then you will indeed diligently seek Him.

Then… what is the reward this text speaks of?

It is Him.

If He is the one you are diligently seeking, then the “reward” of this seeking must be to find the One you are seeking.

In other words, the question is, Is God fair and reasonable in what He expects from you?

Or, is He a hard task master, who is hard to please?

Ask yourself, Is God pleased with my faith in Jesus?

Is it a faith which pleases Him, according to this truth of scripture?

We know He doesn’t want us to live in doubt or confusion over whether we have “enough” faith to be pleasing to Him.

More important?

Your life does not matter any more than anyone else’s does.

Great man of God?

May 21, 2020

I want to give credit where it’s due, and honor to whom it is due, but I won’t be calling anyone “a great man of God” until I hear Jesus call them that on Judgment Day.

Do you know?

May 20, 2020

What does it matter how much you know if you don’t know you have eternal life?

May 20, 2020

Christian, this world is insane, so guess what will happen if you are influenced by it?

Deliberate compromise

May 20, 2020

Every Christian celebrity had to make deliberate compromises with God’s word to get where they are.

Enlargement of heart

May 19, 2020

The more our heart is enlarged, the more people we can pray for, and thus God enlarges our heart even more.

Today’s Tweets

May 19, 2020

It’s easy to identify the devil’s works, they are clearly labelled thus: S E L F.

A superficial Christian dismisses and laughs about things they should be weeping about.

The promises of Jesus were never given by Him to the insincere, unrepentant or disingenuous.

Christian, you see governments taking more power and personal freedoms being taken away….

Praise God. Preach Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.

What if you hear a great song, beautifully crafted, lyrically profound, and it touches your heart and emotions, and stimulates your mind, and makes you think, and, yet, it doesn’t point you to Jesus, or magnify or reveal Him?

We keep sowing God’s word by faith, believing He will personally teach each one with His word.

A rescued man can’t boast of anything, eh, only to be thankful.

Why is Jesus angry?

May 19, 2020

The wrath of God will hit the earth.

What’s the message?

Jesus is very, very angry.

Why would Jesus be very, very angry?

Because the whole world heard the message that He loved them and died in their place on the Cross, but they continue to be immoral, and spit on Him, as if He died for nothing.

If the Bible is true, and it is, within a few years the Coronavirus will be the least of your concerns.
