There are certain people we meet in life who are a reminder that the devil is very real.

Growing in Christian love also means learning to be interested in the lives of people with whom you share little natural interests.

Currently there are two basic political cults:

One that believes Trump is the Messiah.

And one that believes Trump is Satan.

Both distract from the REAL problems America faces.

My point is that focus on a personality always distracts from the real problems.

Here’s a thought.

What if Trump was an intellectual and a gentleman in every way, AND he represented the exact same policy stance that he does now – nothing at all was different except his quips and tweets?

For a start, its doubtful such a man would ever be able to get into office, not any more.

But if it did happen then the whole political discourse would change.

Who owns the earth?

The One who made it, naturally enough.

He is the Landlord, we are the tenants.

And yet much more than a Landlord, He owns all the people He has made as well, and every living thing, including everything in the spirit world, even the devil.

The human race is His property. Everything you can see and imagine is His.

But before you get offended consider that He keeps you alive. He is the one.

If He took His hand off His creation it would die that moment – He is the giver and sustainer of life.

Then, what is freedom?

Considering the above facts, then, freedom must be something which only has meaning in relation to God.

Freedom. Something deep inside yearns for it, but we don’t even know what it is, really.

Every generation thought the earth belonged to them. Then they died and it belonged to someone else. Or, one day a bunch of men with swords turns up and says it belongs to them now.

Jesus Christ will return for what is His.

It’s His land. It’s His people.

He will require an account from every man of what he did with God’s property, how he treated it, and them.

He will require an account of what we did with His truth.

An idea is the most powerful thing there is in life because everything begins as an idea.

But where do ideas come from?

From your mind?

Or, implanted into your mind by God?

Or implanted by a malevolent spirit?

Here’s the deal.

Jesus wants you to trust and obey Him.

And learn to love Him.
