Now, no one needs to move a physical mountain.

But spiritual mountains or obstructions do need to be removed from our path.

A mountain signifies something blocking our progress or God’s purpose.

The early church met from house to house daily.

The Pharisees were obsessed with the Sabbath. They even stalked Jesus to see if He would break it, and He did, repeatedly, to teach them that He is the Sabbath Rest of God – the Sabbath pointed to Him.

And Jesus told the Pharisees they were of their father the devil.

But, by your book, they would be okay because they didn’t just keep the Sabbath, they were more obsessed with it than they were with God.

They had a higher regard for the Sabbath than they did for God, or for the needs of those around them.

Sabbath and such laws became their god.

But Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

It was never meant to become a religion you serve.

And you are doing the same as them, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel.
