Here are some profound truths of scripture which the human mind can’t fully comprehend:

• The fact that God is love, and yet He will punish forever those who reject Him.

A dear bro got sidewinded by this faulty logic: He saw in scripture that Jesus said a man cannot serve two masters. Therefore, he reasoned that if he votes then it means he has made the government his master, and therefore Christ is no longer his master. He thinks it means choosing a king other than Jesus to rule over him.

The faulty assumption here is that if one is subject to a human government, then that government rules over them in the place of Christ.

Then, if one obeys or supports a government then that government is their master.

In practical terms, then, if you obeyed the traffic rules it would mean you have obeyed the government, and therefore the government rules over you, and if the government is then your master, then Christ is not your master.

That is the logic.

Ironically, to believe such lies brings a person under the power of the devil, under another master, the very thing they are supposedly opposing.

The current push by Biden and the Dems and other western nations is essentially a moralistic one, by them redefining Biblical morality, and then making it a crime to believe certain things they promote as moral are immoral. You could call it a new religion, because it is built on pushing a particular view of morality, and demonizing anyone who disagrees.

For a professing Christian who lives in a perpetual state of depression, discouragement and disappointment.

You ask him, Tell me the cause of your perpetual depression?

He cites how people have let him down, abused and hurt him.

Then you tell him, Because you have not unconditionally forgiven these people it means you are living in a state of bearing unforgiveness, which is a grave sin with God, because Jesus said if we don’t forgive, we won’t be forgiven. Therefore, the depression you are experiencing is God’s discipline on you for not forgiving them.

He’s a benevolent Creator, and not a malevolent one.

What’s implied is, if God went to the trouble of creating you, He is surely going to take the trouble of looking after you, having created you in the first place.

When suffering is according to His will then we are to commit our soul into His keeping, believing He is faithful to keep us and carry us through it, because He made us, and if He has a purpose for us to suffer at times He has a good reason for it, of which we are to trust Him in it.

Now, why would the devil want people to believe the antichrist is the antichrist? He wouldn’t want to blow his cover.

He won’t be saying, ‘Look, here I am, I’m the devil incarnate’.

So, obviously, the people who embrace the coming antichrist won’t think of him as the antichrist, but rather, the christ.

So, the false doctrine of preterism conditions people to accept the antichrist as the christ, because people will think the Book of Revelation was fulfilled 1900 years ago.

Therefore, we would be justified to think that preterism is a tool of the spirit of antichrist, and just one way the devil is preparing the world to accept him as the leader of the world.

a. Why “shut the door”? Because it’s a holy, exclusive transaction: you, alone with God, and no one, not even your spouse, is privy to it. Pray with your spouse, or with the bros and sisters AFTER you have had your exclusive, holy time before the Throne of Grace.

b. “Shut the door” is not limited to shutting people out of that holy place but shutting the door on everything which is competing with God for your time and affections. Shut the door on whatever you need to, so you are not distracted by it when you come into this, the most holy transaction you could ever do.

c. The Father “sees”. Scripture says God’s ear is open to the righteous, not the unrepentant. The unrepentant are wasting their breath praying to God.

d. The answers to your prayers will be out in the open, for all to see.

e. It obviously doesn’t have to be a room. Jesus rarely prayed in a room, we note. The point is He went alone to pray to where He wouldn’t be distracted by people.

Advice to Donald Trump.

I’m praying that your life will reflect your confessed Christian faith, as we pray the same for ourselves and for all Christians.

I’m praying God will teach you where you have been wrong, and misrepresented Him, and you will have the grace to confess it publicly in true humility.

I’m praying you will understand WHY you didn’t win with a landslide.

I’m praying God give you wisdom as to what He wants you to do.

I’m praying you will have a common wisdom as to how your actions or demeanor is percieved by the mainstream. For example, it’s good to show what you believe. Get out and spend time with minorities, with the poor, with the disenfranchised, and those who don’t understand you.

I’m praying God give you a clarity and wisdom to articulate the Christian stance on all the issues facing society. Christians who vote for you expect this.

I’m praying you can communicate the Biblical principles which protect the genuine rights of all people, even the rights of unbelievers or atheists, or the blatantly immoral.

I’m praying you won’t take the bait any more and return insult for insult. That you will know when to speak and when to ignore.

Ignore ignorant people. Don’t lower yourself to their level.

I’m praying you will have the wisdom to know which of your spiritual advisors are gold diggers, and which are genuine.

But if one willfully goes on in sin Jesus said the Father will cut them out of the Vine and cast them away. We assume, then, such a person has come to a place where they no longer abide in the Vine, and God simply requites them according to that choice they made.

“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”

Praying for President Trump and God’s sovereign will be done as to his future, and for the future of God’s people in America.

In one sense, God forgave all sinners when He gave His Son to bear the sin of the whole world, and we arrive much later on the scene and recieve that forgiveness by faith in Jesus Christ, a forgiveness already established, a finished work, therefore a certainty for those who believe, rather than the uncertainty of waiting for an answer as to whether God will forgive you, as if His forgiving you were an arbitrary act, and your case a special case, where you would have to ascertain whether He wants to forgive you or not.

But of course, the one who does not receive Christ’s reconciliation is not reconciled, and the wrath of God remains on them.

If a person is pure, holy and true, having the true love of Christ, possessing the Spirit of Christ, full of faith in Christ, fearlessly proclaiming Jesus, then they have a heavenly beauty which far surpasses any mere external, superficial beauty.

Christian, if you have spiritual life in you, then that life could not have originated with you, because you were previously spiritually dead in your sins. Before, you were dead, you had no life.

So, where does the new life you enjoy come from?

You have life from above, the life of Christ, it’s no longer you that live but Christ who lives in you.

You don’t just possess a commodity called “life”, you possess the Author of life, the One who is the way, the truth and the life.

The Holy Spirit is sent from Heaven (1Peter 1:12) and He will take you back to where He came from.

In the meantime, the One in you is from Heaven, revealing the things of God through the lens of God’s holy word.

So don’t try to live two lives: one with the Holy Spirit, and another, by yourself.

He, and the life He gives, are inseparable.

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Rom. 8:2)

A Liberal says, Christians can’t agree on what they believe, they are divided.

Answer. If they don’t believe every verse of the Bible then they’re not a Christian.

All true Christians believe the whole Bible. If you open to any verse, they believe that verse. They might have slightly different interpretations, but they believe it.

So, all true Christians agree on that level, and are not divided.

If we grieve the Holy Spirit then He registers grief, not joy.

Eternal life is not an independent possession one possesses independent of God. It’s not a “substance” which exists apart from God. It’s not a commodity God gives.

It is RELATIONAL.

The relationship is eternal life.

And, we, as a new creation in Christ, are not independent of God: our being totally derives from being IN Christ.

If we left Christ, and He left us, we would no longer be a new creation. In fact, we would be worse off than if we never knew the Lord.

When God gives us eternal life, this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life.

Therefore, if a person then rejects the Son they no longer have eternal life. If they reject the Son, they reject eternal life.
