In Christian marriage, be the kind of husband or wife God wants and expects you to be, without exception, unconditionally, whatever happens.

……

Even if you somehow did manage to be happy without God, that “happiness” would abruptly end the moment after you die.

……

When you see the news you’re seeing the ugly consequences of people rejecting God.

…….

Courage only means something when we have to face our fears. Only faith can form courage.

……

A believer, by abstaining from sin, is not staying saved by continually earning his position or right to stand before God, as in gaining credit points for abstaining, or, either, demerit points for commission of sin.

Not sinning is not “works”. By not sinning one is not performing “works”.

Last night when you slept you probably didn’t sin, but you didn’t earn anything for that.

It’s not like you’re continually putting dimes in the parking meter so you can keep your parking place and not be moved on.

Or keeping up the rent to avoid eviction.

But if one willfully goes on in sin Jesus said the Father will cut them out of the Vine and cast them away. We assume, then, such a person has come to a place where they no longer abide in the Vine, and God simply requites them according to that choice they made.

“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”

(John 15:2,6)

Praying for President Trump and God’s sovereign will be done as to his future, and for the future of God’s people in America.

Not expecting justice, it’s way past that being a realistic expectation, but believing His sovereign will and purpose be done anyway.
