There’s absolutely nothing that can substitute for personally knowing Jesus.

But people have a lot of confidence in substitutes.

Are you an Ambassador of Christ?

And, if so, are many people aware that you are?

“If Christ is not at the center of your life, something else is.”

And that something is us.

The peculiar thing about humans is they are created in the image of God, but sin has disfigured that image.

And the peculiar thing about those in Christ is the disfigured image is re-created into the image of Christ.

God places equal value on every human life.

It’s only man who considers some lives more valuable than others.

If you understand how Jesus is different to any other man who’s ever lived, you’ll believe and follow Him.

Jesus was inclusive toward all, but exclusive in His message.

There is where liberals trip over that Stone.

Before the Lord saved me I would sometimes think of weird or wacko Christians I had met or seen and then kind of self justify my own life, but deep down I knew that by doing that I wasn’t at all sincere, I was looking for an excuse to justify my sinful life.

Saw today:

“…almost a Christian…”

If you have been truly born of the Spirit, then the Holy Spirit of God has been inside you the whole journey, through thick and thin, through joy and pain, through success and failure, and when you felt spiritual, and when you didn’t.

He’s been in you the whole time.

Did you know that in many parts of the world you can face trouble, imprisonment or death for simply criticizing the government?

Maybe you’re not as oppressed as you think.

It’s true, baptism doesn’t save, and yet its importance is derived from Jesus command for it, so if a person refuses baptism we know their stance toward the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ healed thousands of people from serious diseases. At His command the blind could see, the crippled could run, jump and dance, and even the dead came back to life. And He, Himself, came back to life after being dead for three days.

I believe this, and millions of good people have believed this, over 2000 years, from every nation and language.

Join us at His feet.

Any estimation of God’s power will be an under estimation.

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

1 Timothy 6:10

“straying from the faith”

It’s not that they suddenly despise Jesus or purposely reject Him.

It’s that they have strayed away searching for something else or something more.

Studying the Laodicean church in Revelation 3.

You know, the average Christian today has far more material wealth and luxury than the rich Christians whom Christ addressed in Laodicea.

“Now when this epistle is read among you, see that it is read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. And say to Archippus, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.” “

(Col. 4:16-17)

Archippus is assumed to be the prominent elder in the church of Laodicea. We see in Rev. 3 that Laodicea became lukewarm and in danger of being cast off by the Lord. Paul is writing to Collosae, which was a neighbouring city to Laodicea, perhaps twenty years prior. Archippus needs to fulfill his ministry in Laodicea. If he doesn’t, then the church there could be lacking. Perhaps he didn’t fulfill his ministry there, and the church became lukewarm? No one knows. But it seems likely.

We must fulfill our ministry. You must fulfill your ministry.

There has to be fulfillment. Not in part, not an unfinished work.

If you say you don’t have a ministry, what you mean is you don’t serve the Lord Jesus Christ, but your own interests.

Today, a “ministry” is usually a business, which is not a Biblical ministry to begin with.

How can a Christian support evil things?

Just check how the things you support stand before the Judgment Throne of Christ.

Jesus’ message…

Pass it on.

It’s His message to man.

He wants us to pass on His message.

Not that hard to do.

It would be much harder if you had to think up your own message.

Don’t hang your family’s dirty laundry out to air to entertain viewers around the world, if you ever get the chance.

In the Christian life, whatever is man-made crashes like a house of cards sooner or later.

Jesus Christ wants to come into the deepest part of your being and make you alive to God.

The essence of honoring God is in the parts of our life where only He knows whether we are honoring Him.

Is the Father in Heaven involved in the living of your daily life?

The Bible says the whole world lies in darkness. You can’t dress it up to make it look like it isn’t. It is.

If you’re extremely sensitive to kids being “corrupted” by certain story books or cartoons, but allow them to sit with you and watch filth and perversion, then you’ve got a major contradiction there. Maybe you’re not the great moral crusader you thought you were?

In the “Bible days” the Bible was written on big scrolls, and you couldn’t walk around with a bunch of huge scrolls and open them every time you wanted to quote scripture. It had to be stored in your heart and mind, or you didn’t have it.

“And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear”

(1 Peter 1:17)

God never bends the rules for anyone because they’re special. He uses the same standard to measure us all, without partiality.

A man or woman of God will occasionally say something we like to hear, but they always say what we need to hear.

The New Testament says Christ becomes the LIFE of His people. He is our LIFE. Not an add on.

So, it’s quite readily apparent in anyone’s life when Christ is truly their LIFE.

When you speak to your Father, believe He hears every word.

Over a lifetime, if God answered all the prayers which you prayed according to His will, then, just that alone, would mean your life has had a massive spiritual impact in this world.

“Abortion stops a beating heart”

Next to God, a man’s conscience is his best friend.

There are people out there who, practically, don’t believe anything in the Bible, but they still call themselves Christians. Very slippery dudes. Impersonators.

If you study history you’ll note that it’s extremely rare for a person of integrity to rule a nation.

Anyone want to start a new life in America? Now is the time, you can just walk right in.

If we could see the world through God’s eyes we would weep and weep and weep.
