Only a perfect person can enter into Heaven and the presence of God, because nothing sinful can enter there, scripture says.

And only the sacrifice of Jesus Christ can make us perfect in the sight of God.

His perfect righteousness is imputed to us who believe.

This is why Jesus is the only way to God.

“None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.” (Heb. 8:11)

In this, the New Covenant, all know the Lord. So, where we see elitism and hierarchy it’s a sign that all don’t know the Lord. When all know the Lord those things can’t exist. And when all know the Lord then all serve Him, all are His instruments.

It always happens that those who know the Lord become His instruments.

Think about this, if a church today truly represented the New Covenant, then all, from the least to the greatest, would know the Lord.

The Bible says God is love, and God demonstrates or asks us to examine His love for us by the fact that He gave His only Son to die for us.

Love existed before men and women were created. The Father loved the Son in eternity, which has no beginning or end.

Men and women only have a concept of love because God gave them the ability to understand what it is.

Of course, the love of God far transcends natural human love, because it is selfless love.

Human love is tainted by sin.

The love of Christ is pure and holy.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matt. 7:21-23)

Here we have “Christians” who seem to have all the right beliefs, confessing Jesus as Lord, and perhaps they are notable pastors or evangelists, casting out demons, healing the sick, preaching the Gospel, but they never truly repented of their sin, and they were never born again, and never had the true Holy Spirit, and they end up in hell.

You could be following such a person.

Check for the love of money, which is idolatry, love of power, love of the praise of men, love of titles, of self promotion, of loose morals and ethics, which, when consistently practiced as a lifestyle, indicate a person has not truly repented.

a. Be holy. Be ready to meet the Lord today.

d. Become less dependent on luxuries and comforts. Become a tough soldier of Christ, enduring hardship.

e. Don’t concern yourself as to the timing of the catching up.

f. Don’t concern yourself as to which of the groups of saints mentioned in the book you belong to, because God decides that, not us. We don’t choose that. Our responsibility is to be holy and faithful.

g. Know that you are not appointed to wrath. The wrath of God could fall on your nation, but not on you.

h. Try to become increasingly self sufficient and not dependent on the government or society. If possible, keep a good stock of non perishable food.

i. Cultivate fellowship and close family ties with other believers, helping one another.
