You would think that with the wave of Liberalism engulfing Christendom that Legalists would also have been swept up by it, abandoning their legalism for the new “freedom” of redefining sin into something natural and good.

But, no, the legalistic demons don’t give up easily. The devil doesn’t care whether you are a Liberal or a Legalist, he’s got you either way.

……

If you’ve served the Lord for many years and then start thinking, ‘What did I get out of it? What’s in it for me?’

The Lord might ask you, ‘What did you expect to gain for yourself by serving me?’.

It could then be time to actually begin serving Him, and no longer serve yourself.

…..

God is infinite.

The Psalmist asked Him,

‘What is man that you are mindful of him?’

Know that the infinite God is mindful of you.

Believe it, even if you find it hard to believe.

Under grace, not under law.

Those who are born again and filled with the Spirit know how “it works”.

The Holy Spirit leads them to live a holy life.

But without the Holy Spirit you can’t live a holy life, no matter how much you try and keep the law.

The Holy Spirit EMPOWERS holiness.

The law, in itself, does not give us the power to fulfill it.

The purpose of the law is to show us we are sinners and need a Savior.

The law is powerless to set us free from sin.

Every legalist you meet is still bound by the power of sin.

Legalism doesn’t produce victory over sin.

So… we obtain the Holy Spirit and His power by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.

“The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

(1 Corinthians 15:56-57)

“What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator.”

(Galatians 3:19)

“Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.”

(1 Timothy 1:5-11)

……

Every single thing that God has made is a marvel in itself.

Have a look around.

The wonders are there to produce wonder in us.

…..

The glory that people can give you is utterly worthless.

……

Christ is all sufficient.

So, if you’re in Him, and He is in you, then you’re more than okay: you’re more than a conqueror.

…..

Wisdom is to understand what wisdom actually is: its importance, its purpose, and our need for it.

When we’re young we lack experience, so we tend to underestimate its value.

…..

Love for God can and should find expression in a hundred facets of how we lived this very day.

…..

The source and object of joy is Jesus Christ, Himself.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”

(Romans 8:28-30)

“All things work together for good” means God is ruling over all situations and circumstances, and ruling over the devil and his power.

His rule over everything does not mean He is the cause of evil, or makes people commit evil, but it means, concerning His elect, that God will work what happens for good, as He is able to do this, whether people have the faith to believe it or the understanding to comprehend it.

Every atom is held together by His word.

He is greater than anyone can possibly imagine.

…..

‘In God we trust’ has to be, in God ALONE we trust, and not hedge our bets. This honors Him.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years”

(Revelation 20:4-6)

This is proof the rapture and resurrection doesn’t happen until after the Beast is in power.

If the rapture and resurrection took place before the Beast comes, then there would need to be a second resurrection for these mentioned here who are martyred by the Beast.

Eternity is a long time.

It’s a long time to be in Heaven.

And it’s a long time to be in Hell.

Eternity never ends.

The human soul is the real you, and the soul can’t cease to exist, so you can never cease to exist.

Be reconciled to God today through believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us fear God, and repent of our sins.

……

Even if Republicans come back into power it doesn’t mean anything has changed regarding the sin of America and God’s judgment of it.

…..

The Left hates Larry Elder because he is living proof their narrative is false.

……

We are what we are, in Christ, purely by the grace of God, and, if we sin it’s not because the grace of God failed us. We failed, not God. Jesus never loses sheep. If you sin and backslide it doesn’t prove you never knew Jesus or were never saved or never had the Holy Spirit. It doesn’t mean Jesus failed to keep His sheep. It means we have a choice every moment as to whom we will serve, and we can either surrender to the power and grace of the Holy Spirit, or resist the Spirit.

Reconcile these two truths:

  1. “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (1 Cor. 15:10)
  2. “But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” (1 Cor. 9:27)

(By the way, “discipline my body” doesn’t mean self flagellation or asceticism. It means to be in control of the body’s demands)

The point is, self control, choice and responsibility can’t be abdicated to the grace of God. If we sin, we can’t say the grace of God was not sufficient to keep us from sinning, we are responsible for what we do or don’t do.

….

We never know if someone is able to be taught the truth unless we actually try to teach them. So let’s try.

……

Christian, if you don’t belong to this world, then, where do you belong? Figure out where you belong and you’re on the right track.

……

Deliverance from deception and deliverance from demons are often the same thing, because demons deceive people.

Therefore, without the truth in Jesus there is no deliverance.

……

First century Christianity would seem bizarre in today’s context.

….

The Military Industrial Complex is evil…. except when its products save you from a grisly death.

Sarcasm here.

……

If we care about the people of Afghanistan we should at least pray for them.

……

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

This suggests that if we are anxious about something, then, instead of remaining anxious about it we should talk to the Lord about it and ask Him to take away the anxiety and provide grace or a solution to the problem, and replace the anxiety with His peace.

But it doesn’t suggest that we should only pray if or when we are anxious.

……

It’s not scientifically plausible or defensible to believe the universe created itself.

…..

“…How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him… ? ” (Heb. 2:3)

To anyone reading this:

How will you escape if you neglect so great a salvation?

…..

If you want to live you need to be connected to the One who gives eternal life.

Now, who could that be?
