If you’re saved it’s because Jesus saved you.
No one has ever saved himself.

God is a Father to His own children – those who live in His Son, Jesus Christ.
He is the true Father, and only His true children know and understand this, with all it entails.

When Jesus of Nazareth called His disciples to follow Him did they get the impression this was a means to become wealthy?
If any did have dreams that this could make them wealthy, before too long they realized that was not to be.
So… if Copeland (or suchlike) had started their “ministry” around the same as Jesus of Nazareth, then, perhaps the disciples may have been tempted to do some “church hopping” and leave Jesus ministry to join Kenneth’s, because Kenneth promised wealth, whereas Jesus didn’t?
Nothing has changed.
The choice is still there today as to whose ministry one will follow.
Jesus of Nazareth?
Or, Kenneth of Fort Worth?
Or, Joel of Houston?

“Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.”
We request our Father to work His will this day because we believe He has the power and authority to work His will this day, and that He WILL work His will this day.
His will is intertwined with His Kingdom.
His Kingdom is the expression of His will.
Something is a representation of the Kingdom if it serves the purpose of the Kingdom.

In the most simplistic terms, the Kingdom of God is, for the present time, the sum of what Christ is working in the hearts and lives of people worldwide. It is His Kingdom, it is the reach of His authority, touching and transforming lives in every nation, conforming them to His nature, in love, preparing them to live forever in His eternal Kingdom.

How can one know Jesus Christ?
Well, where will you go to get the answer to this question? Who has the answer?
He has. Go to Him for the answer.
He said, who ever believes on Him has eternal life.
He said, He will reveal Himself to anyone who keeps His words.
“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (John 14:23)

When you hear someone speak God’s word be careful to pay more attention to the actual content of the message than to the personality of the one giving it.

For a person to live in total spiritual darkness all they need to do is keep shutting out the light of God’s word anytime it starts to shine into their gloomy world.

How much money did Jesus need to fulfill His ministry? How did He get that money?
(Just some questions, of which the answers explain a lot to us about how we can fulfill our personal ministries, which God has given each one of us)

In only a matter of time every one you know will be dead, and they’ll be either in Heaven or Hell.
It may sound bleak, but it’s the truth, and we should play our God-given part in seeing that folks go to Heaven.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Cor. 5:17)
Therefore, if the old things have not passed away, and all things have not become new, then that person is not a new creation in Christ.
And… if anyone wants to become a new creation in Christ, it follows, then, that they must want all the old things to pass away, and for everything in their life to be made new.
A new creation in Christ is, therefore, an entirely new kind of creature, a new species of being, entirely different to the creature they were before – a creature who bears the image of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, because they have been recreated in His image.
“…And have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him…” (Col. 3:10)
“…And that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” (Eph. 4:24)

Serving God is honor and reward in itself. It doesn’t look for any other reward or recompense.

A lot of Christians would perhaps like to freely congregate together in their localities or towns for relational, participatory church, but they can’t agree on how it will work, or don’t believe it could work without an organizational structure. In other words, they don’t have the faith for it because it is something unknown to them in their experience.
If they agree on the purpose for gathering, which is to allow all the gifts to have a voice, to build up the body of Christ, then it “works”.
So why doesn’t it happen?
Because individuals don’t have personal practical experience in building up others with the word of God on a personal level, so they can’t do it in a gathering.
……
Worship of God, in Spirit and Truth, is, by definition, a person’s response to revelation from God. He reveals to us something of who He is, and we, either, appropriately respond to that revelation, which is to worship, or we ignore Him.

Another sign of Christian maturity is to have a clearer understanding of the difference between the Holy Spirit and your spirit, and soul.
