The greatest people are those who have the true love of Jesus in their heart and life.

Jesus gives eternal life, then you live in eternity right now, and then you experience the passage of time from a different perspective.

“If you cannot say quite honestly that everything else becomes relatively unimportant to you in comparison with this [the pursuit of God], I do not see that you have any right to call yourself a Christian.”

— Martyn Lloyd Jones

People who use profanity to make their point are not worth listening to, for that very reason, because they think that by using profanity or blasphemy it makes them authoritative, intelligent or proves their point, or proves they are right. It would be foolish, then, to take them seriously.

Christian, are you filled with the Holy Spirit?

No, it has nothing to do with speaking in tongues.

Though that can happen.

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?

6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,

10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thess.2:3-12)

a. A world leader is coming who will claim to be God.

b. Revelation 13 says the whole world will worship him.

c. Before he is revealed there is a falling away. This refers to professing Christians. Others can’t fall away as they never had the truth.

d. These “Christians” (and they might still think of themselves as Christians) worship this man, along with the world.

e. The reason the world believes the claim of this man is because of the miracles he performs, and, because they did not love the truth of God’s word He causes them to be delusional, as a judgment.

f. The “lie” mentioned here, which most people will believe, is that this man is God, or, implied, the Messiah or Savior of the world. Yet, verse 12 reveals the nature of this man’s message: “pleasure in unrighteousness”. It implies a religion which does not require repentance from sin, or, which redefines sin as not sin, or even worse, makes sin a spiritual virtue (which is a continuation of the ancient practice of idolatry combined with immorality).

So, the “lie” is twofold, concerning who the man is, and concerning his message.

g. It’s implied in Revelation that the world looks to this man for leadership and unity due to the intractable conflicts and problems it faces.

One of the key indicators of the state of our walk with the Lord is how many people we genuinely pray for each day.

Imagine if all the people you knew were filled with the Holy Spirit.

We can’t expect anything worthwhile in people’s lives apart from the work of the Holy Spirit. That is, from God’s perspective.

“Our rights come from God, not from government.”

Christmas and Easter never gets “over”. That’s the point.

If Jesus Christ is truly your Savior, then you’re saved.

The Creator-creature relationship is the one relationship you can’t avoid: you’re stuck with it, for better or for worse. It can be for the better.

One of the most pathetic beliefs man has bought into is the belief that when you die you cease to exist.

It gives people a false “hope” that they won’t have to give an account to God.

There’s a long list of pathetic beliefs mankind has bought into.

Jesus said, ‘What profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?’.

Isn’t this the equation most people are living out in their lives? They’ve traded their soul for something of this world.

Politics is okay if it’s not the instrument of an ideology.

If people are actually essentially good, and, religion is good, then, from ancient times till today, after all this time, we would have thought that mankind would have learned to get on together and love one another?

Then, people expect everything to change, when nothing has changed in the heart of man.

So, the only way mankind can try and create societal utopia is down the barrel of a gun, or by the edge of the sword.

This has been the pattern of such social experiments in the past, and this is where we’re heading now.

See Revelation chapter 13.

Disciple, if someone despises you without a cause, remember, you’re still their servant, you’re a servant of all.

In natural terms, some people have a good life, others, a bad life. Some have a charmed life, others, a life of suffering. Some have a care free life, others, a very tough life. Some have a lot of happiness, others, a lot of sorrow. Some enjoy good health, others, not. Some enjoy all the comforts money can buy, others, get by without those comforts.

This is how life is.

Yet, there’s something even greater than life itself.

So great, that ultimately, these issues fade into insignificance in comparison.

It’s to be born again. Born a second time. To receive a second chance, a new beginning. To have the eternal life of God in you. To know Jesus Christ.

This is greater than life itself because all these issues of life will soon be gone and won’t matter.

Moral outrage is something which seems to be very selective, partisan and subjective.

Do you enjoy time alone with the Lord?

Jesus said He is the Light of the world.

I believe Him.

“And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.” (Acts 2:18)

Let’s be honest, this hardly describes Christianity today.

What is true?

To come to Christ is to come to the truth.

To face Him is to face the truth.

To follow Him will mean dealing with the truth.

God made a nation of people in the Middle East, Israel, and gave them His law. The law tells us a lot about God and His values and standards. It wasn’t given to punish man, but to show us what God is like, and show us the sin that is in our hearts, like a mirror, and to prepare us to receive a Savior, who would be God in the flesh, Jesus Christ.

Jesus would reconcile us to God by His blood and spiritually recreate us, writing His laws in our hearts, conforming our nature to His nature.

The law shows us the great chasm between a Holy God and sinful man.

It would be truly horrifying to stand before God and be judged by His law. That’s the dreadful state every one of us finds himself in, without Christ.

The death of Christ Jesus on the Cross, and the shedding of His blood, bridged that chasm between God and man, fulfilling the law for us.

Jesus said, “I am the way!”.

Does Woke ideology offer people the option that it’s okay to not accept it if you don’t want to?

No. It’s fascist to the core.

Christmas is far more popular than Jesus.

Funny how some people celebrate Jesus’ birth who don’t believe what He said?

The people who want to rule over everyone else are not good people, and for that very reason.

Do you believe love can be explained or defined solely in terms of physical neural processes within the brain: chemical reactions, electrical impulses, released hormones… … a complex neurological process?

Or do you believe love is something more than simply physical processes which can be observed by science?

Do you believe there is a spiritual realm, even though science can’t observe it?

Nothing can permanently last or survive without love – whether it be friendships, marriages, churches, societies or nations…

And they don’t have to lack love because genuine love is available through abiding in Christ Jesus.

When it’s about what the Bible says and teaches then it’s no longer about who YOU are.

Dear disciple of Jesus Christ, all the resources of the Kingdom of Heaven are open and available to you right now and always.

To the unconverted:

You might be thinking, How can I honor Jesus Christ on this Christmas day?

May I suggest the first step is to believe what He said.

Grab a Bible and have a read through Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and decide whether you believe Him and what He said or not.

If you absolutely know you’re saved, how can you not have joy?

I deleted someone’s comment equating me with a Muslim for not observing Christmas Day.

Its Dec 25th here in India right now. I’m having good fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

So far He hasn’t communicated any displeasure to me that I’m not celebrating Christmas.

I will keep you updated as the day progresses if I feel the Holy Spirit is grieved with me, and if He is not grieved then I will take it everything is fine.

I’m not against Christmas, I’m just not interested in it.

“Jesus did not come to create a holiday, but to create holy people.”

Jesus said He is coming back.

Do you think He was kidding?

The scripture which blessed me most yesterday morning was in John 15 where Jesus said, “Abide in me!”.

What an invitation!

Yes, Lord, that’s what I want more than anything, to abide in you. Just abide. I can do that. Doesn’t sound too hard to me. And surely there’s no other life comparable to simply abiding in you.

Do you want to abide in Him?

The person who is a new creation in Christ, and in whom He dwells, has the resources in Him to stand even if all the demons in the world, and even satan himself, were to personally show up and attack them at once. Christ overcame the world and the powers of darkness.

If God didn’t supernaturally protect Christians, satan could kill every one of them in short time, as there would be nothing to prevent him doing that. The Bible says that God restrains the devil, so he can’t do everything he might want to do.

The baby in the manger was born with a purpose. He was on a mission.

What’s the purpose of your life?

“If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” (John 15:19)

A great challenge for Christian politicians, celebrities or would be popes. If you’re a genuine Christian then how can you get the world to love you? And you’re going to need their love if you want them to elevate you. Only by compromising the truth, right? Then you would no longer be a genuine Christian.

Joy will seek out and find the faithful.

Start your day with the Lord and continue it with Him all day.

The “trick” is to support the true teachers and expose the false ones.

“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars.” (Rev. 2:2)

The same principle of testing applies to all, whether they call themselves apostles, prophets, reverends, pastors or whatever.

Right or wrong is not decided by popular vote, it’s already been determined by God and revealed in scripture. It’s irrelevant how many people think something is right if God has declared it to be wrong.

The way false teachers hedge and prevaricate when put on the spot is almost as bad as the false teaching itself.

Liberal progressive house church leader says the scriptures are not God’s word.

Bottom line, then? That there’s no moral absolutes.

Then, come to find out that this man approves of things which scripture says is immoral.

We can observe, then, that he wants certain immoral things to be moral, therefore, the only thing inconveniently in the way are the scriptures which condemn it, so, he decides to cancel out those scriptures in order to satisfy his conscience, so his conscience can find peace or assurance that the verses which condemn it are not really God’s word.

In the book of Revelation, “Babylon” can’t refer to the “world system” because it’s the world system which ultimately destroys it. It rides the Beast, but it’s not the Beast. It refers to false representations of Christianity: It’s not fully accepted by the world, nor is it accepted by Christ – it doesn’t belong to Christ or the world, hence, it is judged by God, but He uses the world as the instrument of judgment on her (Rev. 17 & 18).

Where there’s anything fake going on under the guise of Christianity, that’s a manifestation of Babylon.

Jesus’ conception in Mary’s womb was supernatural.

And to be born again is a supernatural manifestation inside a person.

The Holy Spirit inside a person is supernatural.

Spiritual means supernatural.

Abiding in Christ is a supernatural life, where the supernatural governs the natural.

The immature Christian often seeks recognition or attention in some way.

Would you like to believe in Jesus but you’re afraid of what others might think?

Is your faith limited by what your friends will allow you to believe?

We would prefer Jesus returns today, but we’re prepared to wait.

The Lord Jesus commanded us to love our enemies.

He forgave those who were driving nails into His hands and feet.

Paul the Apostle was beheaded, even though he had done nothing wrong. He most probably looked at the guy who was going to chop off his head and loved him.

It’s radical stuff, this Gospel.

“Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.”

(John 16:22)

If we are mistreated, even so, we should not allow our joy to be robbed.

Love will prevent us being defeated, and we are defeated if we allow anyone to steal our joy.

The Lord Jesus empowers His disciples to keep His words.

If people mistreat you it is their problem, not yours.

It only becomes your problem if you’re not willing to forgive and bless those who persecute you.

One thing you’ll learn about the church/denominational system is that most people who claim to be “in the ministry” will only be your friend if you in some way contribute to or support their “ministry”. This is one reason I’ve opted for relational church the last 30 years. It’s more real.

Is the Holy Spirit good company?

Do people get bored with the Holy Spirit?

The Lord Jesus really knows whether we love people, so He knows where we are really at.

All people have a free will.

This doesn’t mean they are justified to feel free to do anything they might think of doing.

But it does mean that they are capable of doing anything if they were to decide to.

Fallen man doesn’t want to come to the light, scripture says.

He could if he wanted to, but he doesn’t want to.

The grace of God causes us to want to come to the light.

God is not preventing people from coming to the light, He has given them a free will, and they use that free will to choose not to.

And none of these facts contradict the absolute Sovereignty of God.

Big Pharma doesn’t want the pandemic to end. Nor do governments want it to end, until they have achieved their objective of having digital ID control and surveillance over everyone.

“They are not hiding their intentions anymore. This is all about shifting us from an analogue world to a fully trackable, traceable, algorithmically controlled digital world.” unquote

It was never simply about health measures, but, rather, using vaccination as a pretext for people to naively surrender their privacy and freedom in exchange for the “security” of government surveillance and control.

“[Wokeness] basically gives mean people a shield to be mean and cruel, armored in false virtue.” – Elon Musk

It seems human beings can’t escape thinking they are virtuous, even if it’s a false virtue they pride themselves in.

Christmas message

December 25, 2021

An excerpt from my Christmas message today:

Look at the first 200 years of Christianity. It flourished and spread through Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and even as far as India. Yet there were no church buildings, no cathedrals, no priests, no clergy, no statues or idols, no Christmas or Easter…. ….virtually nothing by which people today would identify something as Christian.

Was this accidental, or by design?

Was this to demonstrate to the world that Christianity is not a religion, as compared with the religions of the world?

If it’s not a religion, if observing all the traditions of Christianity doesn’t make you a Christian, then what is a Christian?

Look in the Gospels. Jesus spoke of His disciples, and what it means to be His disciple.

A disciple follows Jesus and abides in Him.

The birth of Christianity

December 22, 2021

Last night we read Acts chapter 2. Quite a chapter! The birth of Christianity in one single day. How? The Holy Spirit came. In one day a community of over 3000 people was created. And not just any community but a true brotherhood of love. Love prevailed. People ate together, helped one another, met together to hear the word of God daily. It happened spontaneously because it was the effect of the Holy Spirit. There was a colony of Heaven here on earth. A microcosm or model of the perfect society – a society of love. No need to sing John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’. Nothing needed to be imagined, the Kingdom of Christ Jesus had come in power and transformed thousands into children of God, living in righteousness, love and holiness before God and one another.

The Holy Spirit is still here on earth. What do you think? Has He changed?

The birth of Christianity described in Acts 2 can’t be attributed to the natural ability, skill, knowledge or oratory of the Apostles. It can only be attributed to a “rushing mighty wind” of the Spirit.

If Christianity was birthed this way it can only advance this same way.

Is there any substitute for being filled with the Holy Spirit?

You know, something which causes you to not need to be filled with the Holy Spirit?

The Lord’s Prayer

Ask the Father to bring His Kingdom and do His will today, and He will do it.

Freedom from the power of indwelling sin is only perceived as freedom by those who want to be free of it, otherwise, it’s perceived as a threat to one’s apparent freedom to do whatever one imagines. A person feels they are free to do whatever they want when their conscience is cut off from God – it is a sign they are lost and need Jesus Christ.

Which explains why certain verses of the New Testament disturb Liberal Progressive “Christians”. They feel it limits their freedom. This is because their conscience is defiled and they see such requirements from God as threats to their freedom, instead of agreeing with God and seeking deliverance from what the Bible names as sin.

“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

(John 3:19-21)

When Jesus mentions men “practicing evil” most assuredly He means evil as spelled out clearly in God’s word.

Freedom in Christ over your sinful nature means you are no longer are a slave to the desires of your flesh, you are free to choose not to obey those wrong desires.

“I think, therefore, I am.”

Good, but, “I am” what, exactly?

A highly evolved animal?

Or a person created by God in His image?

The truth of God’s word reveals the true meaning and value of every aspect of human life.

Two thousand years ago someone walks up to Jesus and says, ‘You’re kind of a religious guy, aren’t you?’.

“Yeah, I like the way you raised Lazarus back to life after he had been dead four days! That was cool! I’ve always said it’s good for people to have religion, gives them something to believe in!”

Look to God for everything you need: Spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, financially etc.

Not as a substitute for working, though.

We can ask Him for anything according to His will, Jesus said.

Each time we truly heed the word of Christ we become more like Him.

I meant the false assertion that some people go off the rails because they take the Bible too seriously or make an idol of it, as you say.

Any wrong conduct shows people don’t understand the Bible, even in people who make the Bible an idol. Their problem is NOT that they took the word of God too seriously. That would be ridiculous.

The obnoxious religious person who swears by the Bible has not understood it.

And neither has the liberal progressive, who downgrades the authority of scripture, understood the Bible.

Usually, people who accuse others of making the Bible an idol do so because they themselves don’t understand it or live by it.

What is “born again”?

Jesus said, ‘you must be born again’, so, what is it?

It means He makes you a new person inside, in His image, and you are new because He now lives in you to make you new.

If He lives in you then you delight in His word and live by it. It can’t be that He lives in you and you’re opposed to Him and His word.

And you CAN live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God now because you have been born a second time, as a new creation in Him.

Jesus said, “You must be born again!”.

Joe Biden, you must be born again.

Donald Trump, you must be born again.

Vladimir Putin, you must be born again.

Pope Francis, you must be born again.

Bill Smith, you must be born again.

(Insert your name here)

__________ you must be born again.

Whenever I see or appreciate great or noble achievements by men and women, in whatever noble endeavor, I realize that, ultimately, God deserves the credit for it.

Friends should be friends for life…

…and forever, in Christ Jesus.

Look at the life of the Son of God.

Look at His birth, the way He lived, the things He did, what He taught, His death and resurrection…

….And you’ll see God. You’ll know what God is like. You’ll know how God expects and requires you to live. And you’ll know how you can be saved and have eternal life.

Believing in Jesus Christ is about much more than merely believing He exists, it is to believe in His nature, His goodness, love and faithfulness, based on His promises and Him sacrificing His life for us on the Cross.

If someone is truly on a quest for spiritual enlightenment why would they ignore Jesus of Nazareth who rose from the dead, and follow philosophies of people who didn’t rise from the dead?

Who is this ‘invisible king’ who demands total submission to Woke ideology?

Whatever happened to freedom of thought, opinion and belief?

Encourage people to think more, and help them to think logically, conceptually, and to have a rational line of thought.

Thinking about God and His word is a valid way to use your time.

Tyranny is when nothing can be questioned.

Welcome to the New World Order.

  • God has immense love for the human race.
  • God demonstrated His love for the human race by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for all people.
  • Those who believe on the Son have the Son.
  • Those who reject His immense love are self condemned.

See John 3:16, Rom. 5:8, 1 John 5:12, John 3:36

Mockers are instruments of the devil.

Some world leaders are detestable people, but it’s never right to mock them.

Many professing Christians now justify mocking unbelievers or politicians.

“…there will be mockers in the last time who will walk according to their own ungodly lusts.” (Jude 18)

There have always been mockers and people full of lust, therefore this refers to professing Christians in the last days.

It’s not yet a fully totalitarian regime so you can still give your opinion, on some things.

“For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”

(1 Cor. 1:17-18)

The message of the Cross is the Good News, and it is the power of God.

Christ was crucified for your sins, died and was buried for three days, and rose again to be your Justifier and Redeemer.

The power to transform you, change your heart and mind, destroy sin and the devil’s work in you, and to forgive and present you faultless before God is all in believing this message of the Cross.

Healthy food, sunshine and exercise, together, is a natural vaccine, and by far the best.

Do you believe Jesus existed before the manger?

I do.

And most importantly, so does He.

Love never needs a reason because the reason is already found in Christ Jesus.

Satan is the one who convinces people he doesn’t exist.

If we find worldly things boring, empty and meaningless then there’s less chance of them capturing our affections.

“Jesus Christ knows the worst about you. Nonetheless, He is the one who loves you most.”

~ AW Tozer

Where will you spend eternity?

Food for thought:

What does God want you to think about most?

A life of faith is foremost a life of prayer.

Either, Jesus Christ ensured that His words and teaching be faithfully preserved for all generations, or, He didn’t, and Christianity can be anything you imagine or want it to be.

If He had failed to ensure His words were accurately preserved then He would have failed completely.

He didn’t fail.

Spiritual truth is only true to the extent it agrees with God’s word.

The only other alternative would be a spiritual truth is true because people imagine it or want it to be true.

We’re talking about things which are so serious they can cause a person to forfeit salvation, such as sexual immorality.

This is the main issue with Progressives.

They approve things which Gods word condemns.

Their basis for this approval is to cast doubt on the authority of the scriptures, or, at least to cast doubt on the verses which condemn what they approve.

Justifying a sin is the same as committing it.

What verse is that?

“…who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” (Romans 1:32)

But, isn’t it self evident that to approve of something is the same in the sight of God as doing it?

Isn’t it evil to approve of evil?

Isn’t the approval of evil, itself, to put God in the judgment seat and judge Him?

Does Jesus see you as a good and faithful servant of His?

Without the Holy Spirit you would be on your own and left to your own resources.

A true pastor/shepherd to you is one more experienced than you who knows you, loves you, prays for you daily, cares about you, and someone who is an instrument in helping you understand and apply Gods word more clearly.

A true pastor/shepherd will never try and convince you they are a pastor to you, and they will never expect or allow you to call them ‘Pastor’.

The person who cares for your soul is the one who really loves you.

When you use the word “theology” simply say “truth” instead. It sounds more real. Like real life.

Ancient Greeks were perhaps more advanced thinkers than people today.

Idolatry is if we desire something more than we desire God.

When we intercede for the salvation of a lost person it should be as real as if we could see them standing condemned before God’s Judgment Throne, about to be cast into the Lake of Fire forever – and pray for them with that urgency and passion.

The true church only moves forward in the Kingdom sense to the extent that every participant is truly filled with the Holy Spirit.

People surprised to find out Jesus was telling the truth?

The Lord’s Prayer is a summary of the Christian life, and Jesus said it is the way to pray.

Put your faith completely in Jesus Christ.

God’s power is unlimited.

The power He gives to do His will is unlimited.

If you’re doing God’s will it is by His unlimited power you are doing it.

God expects and requires man to do His will only by His power.

That power to do His will is an unlimited power.

The main thing is to do His will by His unlimited power.

His power is not available for things which aren’t His will.

“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:26-27)

He is not far from anyone in the sense that He calls all to repent and come to Him right now, He is only a prayer away, but He is far in the sense there is a great chasm separating a sinner from a Holy God, and Jesus is the only bridge over that chasm.

So near, and yet so far.

Mankind’s times and boundaries are “preappointed” “so that they should seek the Lord”.

It has become that the objection to evil is “hate”, but the evil itself is not hate.

Things are no longer merely political, they are ideological.

“On average, every single star you see at night has a planet going around it”

We look up and we see stars.

We don’t realize there’s likely more planets up there than stars. There’s zillions of little worlds up there.

God is so great.

Are hate crimes worse than regular crimes?

If someone commits a crime, how does whether or not they had hate as their motivation have any bearing on the magnitude of the offence?

A “reality church” would be one where the real issues each member faces in real life are addressed, and they’re equipped to be more than a conqueror in Christ in whatever circumstance they find themselves.

It’s a real life church. That’s why it’s relational and open dialogue, not a traditional service.

The validity or credibility of a church is proportional to the reality of Christ in the daily lives of those who attend.

The priorities of any individual, family, church, society or political party reveal their true nature.

A very common error is to compare yourself with vicious criminals and then surmise that you’re a good person in comparison to such people, and then assume you’re going to Heaven because, in comparison, you feel you’re a good person.

Talk to God.

Make sure your thoughts, inner desires of the heart, motives, words and actions are beautiful in the sight of God.

“…People are afraid to call it what it is…”

Afraid of the higher powers who decide what is politically correct?

Is there any moment of this brief life when you wouldn’t want to be looking to the Lord Jesus Christ?

Walking in the light means seeing the reality and true nature of things as God sees it, because the light of God’s word and Spirit has illuminated it. If a person walks in darkness they don’t see things as God sees them.

You might never have seen people as God sees them until the light of the truth shines. You would never have seen yourself and your inner life as God sees it unless His light had revealed it. And when God shines His light in our heart we see Jesus Christ as He really is, scripture says.

This is partly what it means to walk in the light.

“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Cor. 4:6)

Every day is one day closer to the return of Jesus Christ.

Yeah, He said He is coming back. I believe Him.

If you want to understand the Middle East you need to understand the Bible is the history, present and future of the Jewish people. Don’t believe revisionist versions of history.

Jesus Christ is willing to forgive.

Are you willing to believe Him?

Now, why would you mock a blind man for being blind?

Think of the spiritual application.

The meltdown of American society is directly attributable to the influence of Left wing ideology which rejects Biblical precepts.

To the Christian who is thinking of getting married: twenty, thirty or forty years from now the only thing which will matter is, does your spouse know the Lord Jesus and walk with Him? If so, it will be glorious, and your spouse will be the greatest blessing. This is the main thing you need to be sure of before embarking on marriage.

I believe in Deconstruction.

We deconstruct the Liberal “Christian” narrative.

The deconstruction of Christendom is great IF it means you arrive back at the origin of Christianity, to the teaching and example of the Apostles.

But that’s not what they have in mind.

It’s a shame so many celebrate Jesus’ birth but don’t believe what He said.

We live our life as though we think it just goes on forever, yet it’s wise to consider that it doesn’t – it’s very wise to come to terms with our mortality and be prepared to meet our Maker today.

Surely you can be ready to die and still enjoy your life?

Or, does ones enjoyment of life depend on the denial of the fact that one must give an account to ones Maker?

Romans chapter 1 explains that the natural state of man is to be deluded about God.

But God’s word penetrates into that delusion bringing light.

The true Holy Spirit in us says ‘Amen!’ to every verse of the Bible because He inspired every verse of it.

God commands obedience to Himself.

Some may struggle with that, perhaps, because they are comparing God with man.

But unless we acknowledge He is right, holy and just to command obedience to Himself we can never know who He is.

We would perhaps settle for a god made in the image of man.

In the invitation to agree with Him is the invitation to be His children.

You wouldn’t want to miss out.

We are commanded to obey God, but never to glory in the fact that we did.

Prayer should be taken as seriously as we take God.

How seriously should you take God?

“When normal people are treated like freaks”

The new normal.

“…People have been more willing to give up power to government than any time in American history.”

If God is truly your Father, through Jesus Christ, then, surely, you believe your Father cares for you?

Disciples represent Jesus Christ to the world as His ambassadors.

(See 2 Cor. 5:20)

For a disciple of Jesus, what does it mean to be ‘worldly’?

It starts by neglecting prayer.

Neglect of prayer means something has taken its place.

Something of this world has taken the place of prayer, and thus we become worldly.

If we are believers we need to be sure we are disciples.

People will be asking the question, What is the true meaning of Christmas?

Then ask, Who is Jesus Christ?

Then you’ll get the true meaning of Christmas.

Who decides what is morally right or wrong?

Who decides what your moral standards “should” be?

Who decides whether your beliefs about God are allowed or not allowed?

Who decides what is offensive and what’s not offensive?

Who decides your human rights?

Will we let Jesus rule our lives?

Or, by default be ruled by the devil?

The Bible is the only book which tells an honest person where they stand with God, but a dishonest person can’t accept the truth about themselves.

How long I live is not such a big deal for me because I’m going to live forever anyway.

For the eternity that God has existed He’s never worried about anything.

The Christian life is this:

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”

(Colossians 3:1-4)

How does this truth translate into how we live our days?

If we seek and set our minds on the things which are above, how does this effect how we use our mind as we live our daily lives? How does it effect how we relate to others?

The ultimate is to do the will of God in this life He’s given us: That Jesus Christ can say to us at the Judgment, ‘Well done! Good and faithful servant.’

Considering Jesus rose from the dead, wouldn’t you be inclined to believe Him?

The Holy Spirit inside us is perpetually connected with the Throne of God in Heaven because He is God: the same one and only God.

Thus, it’s only natural that such a person will perpetually look to the Throne of God, and the Lamb because this is what the Holy Spirit inside them is doing.

How much input and influence does God have on your thought life and on the subject matter of your thoughts and contemplation?

If we realize that we should love God then we should realize it’s because He loves us that we should love Him.

“We love Him because He first loved us.”

Being born into a Christian family doesn’t make you a Christian. You must be born again, Jesus said.

The child in the womb needs to be protected, even from its own mother if necessary.

Wars will not end until Jesus Christ returns, the Bible teaches.

Why? Because war is in the nature of every person. There has barely been a time in human history when there’s not been war.

In the Bible, the love and goodness of God never contradict the fierce wrath of God.

Only false prophets teach that it does.

When you see evil in the world, that, alone, is proof that God exists, because, if God were not real how would you know that evil is evil? There would be no absolute good or evil if God did not exist.

“Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Gal. 5:16)

This is cause and effect.

If we fulfill the lust of the flesh it’s because we’re not walking in the Spirit.

Walking in the Spirit is to be led by and obedient to the Spirit, and this gives us power over the lust of the flesh.

So, just trying to fight the lust of the flesh does not work. But, if we’re doing what the Spirit calls us to do then we are not interested in the lust of the flesh: we have a higher interest.

In Kingdom work you can never find yourself unemployed.

What does it mean if we don’t acknowledge the things the Father did for us today?

Does it mean we’re ungrateful children?

It’s either live with God, or live without God.

When we talk to God do we know whom we’re talking to?

The highest and purest love is to desire that people be reconciled to God.

Imagine if Jesus had said,

‘Believe in me and you can go to Heaven AND… you don’t need to repent!’ ?

Perhaps the whole world would have become “Christian” by now, following this cool, liberal “Jesus”?

“Whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.”

“Whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.”

(Luke 14:27, 33)

Being in Christ’s Kingdom means you have a part to play in its extension. This is the nature of it, that each member of it has a stewardship to fulfill, as kings and priests unto God.

The greatest thing you can do today is speak to God.

Sometimes we identify with rebels and outsiders because true Christianity is the ultimate rebellion against the world system.

Ancient cultures might appear to have some kind of romantic idealistic charm, but the hard reality was there was no freedom. If you didn’t conform to the religion you were either ostracized or killed. As it is even today in some nations.

And the one world religion which is forming now will be no different.

See Revelation chapter 13.

Today, this very day, what is your purpose?

And will the purpose of this day be fulfilled today, itself?

Either the Holy Spirit is in a person or He is not.

If He is, then God’s presence is there in them all the time.

But what if some people don’t believe this?

What if they think they need to sing a lot of emotional repetitive songs to get God’s presence?

The Holy Spirit has not changed

December 2, 2021

It’s thought provoking to consider that the Holy Spirit in us is the one and only same Holy Spirit from Genesis to Revelation, the same Spirit who was on all the prophets, and who worked great miracles through the Lord and the Apostles, and has worked to save multitudes through the church age until now. The same Holy Spirit who has been transforming men and women for 6000 years, turning them from sin to the Living God.

We have to believe it, and live as though we believe it.
