Regarding our salvation, we have no confidence or trust in anything we have done. No confidence in baptism, though we got baptized. No confidence in Sabbath days, though we like to take a day of rest. No confidence in our repentance, though we repented. No confidence in taking Communion, even though we take Communion. No confidence in a church, even though we love God’s people. No confidence in any man, no matter how good his teaching. No confidence in any religious rite or tradition. No confidence in ourselves….

….this is all in regard to our salvation.

Our confidence is in Christ alone.

It’s GOOD NEWS God wants you.

It’s GOOD NEWS that Jesus paid the price to forgive you on the Cross.

It’s GOOD NEWS you can have eternal life.

It’s GOOD NEWS you can know Jesus Christ and be filled with His Spirit, love and goodness.

It’s GOOD NEWS that you can experience the love of God for you if you repent and believe the GOOD NEWS.

It’s GOOD NEWS that God can make you a new person who will live forever.

It’s GOOD NEWS that Jesus can make you whole and heal the broken heart, mind and body.

It’s GOOD NEWS you no longer need to be a slave of sin and the devil.

It’s GOOD NEWS that you can escape the wrath of God and eternal punishment.

It’s GOOD NEWS that Jesus is calling you to repent and come to Him.

It’s GOOD NEWS that the salvation which God gives is so simple.

It’s either be born again by faith in Jesus Christ, or remain cut off from God by your sins.

“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. (1 John 5:11-12)

Fantastic, wonderful, simple truth.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ was not a question of faith to the hundreds of disciples who met Him and touched Him after He rose again. It was a fact.

It was proof that He is everything He said He was, and that everything He said is true.

When something or someone is worth waiting for you don’t mind waiting.

I would prefer Jesus returns today, but I don’t mind waiting, because He is worth it.

God’s judgment is totally just.

It would be terrifying if you received God’s justice because it is totally impartial and unbiased. You would be perfectly judged and punished for every time you broke His laws.

But there is a Savior.

God provided a sacrifice, His own Son, Jesus Christ.

He was judged in your place. He took your punishment.

God in the flesh crucified. The Son of God, God incarnate, hanging from a cross by nails through His wrists.

The Holy one. The beautiful one. Love incarnate. The only perfect Man to ever walk the earth. Hanging from that Cross, bleeding for you and I.

Your life and soul depends on this.

This is the only way for you to be reconciled to God.

This is the only way for your sins to be forgiven.

This is the only way for you to receive a new heart.

He’s no longer on a Cross.

But if you’re going to live it is only on the basis that Christ was crucified for you.

As the world attacks true Christians, the world should know they are loved by these

Disciples are always optimistic, even though the world is doomed.

If all Christians today were filled with the Holy Spirit then they would be instruments of the Holy Spirit, and it would be like the first century, turning the world upside down.

“These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.” (Acts 17:6b)

It’s tyranny to politicize truth. That is, when things are true only if they have political conformity. So, something might be true, but if it doesnt comply politically, then it’s not true.

That’s what’s happening.

You would think a civilized society would not think it any more important than hair color?

The Bible says, “Man sees the outward appearance, but God sees the heart”.

God sees the inside of us and knows who and what we really are.
