“Hillary Clinton dodges questions.. “
So what?
It’s ubiquitous these days. It’s an epidemic now. Evasion has become an artform among Christians. I think their rationale is, “Why not do it, because no one cares anyway?”.
Perhaps things have become so dumbed down that people are not aware that evasion is fraud, they think it’s normal?
As for me, if someone dodges my questions I take it that they’re not a genuine friend, so I leave it at that.
On the subject of theological ping pong, it’s good to remember that evasion is the same as lying, and you know where all liars end up, regardless of how theologically clever they think they are.

If you could fly through space to distant galaxies wouldn’t that blow your mind?
But that’s NOTHING compared to what Jesus has promised His followers will inherit.

Don’t think of anyone as being beyond saving.

The new birth happens in an instant, because you can’t be half born again or half justified, or half forgiven, half dead, half alive, lingering somewhere between life and death. No. One moment you’re dead to God, and the next moment you’re alive to God. The greatest miracle.

People’s religion, beliefs, skin color, race, sexual ideas, medical data, etc. should not be the business of any government and should be excluded from personal data, in my opinion. How is any of this the business of the government?

If the fruit of the Spirit is not there, and the works of the Spirit are not there, then it’s likely the Spirit is not there.

“…No one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:17)
This is where it is all leading to. You won’t be able to buy anything unless you are approved by the government and compliant with its ideology. By agreeing to vax passes and QR codes you are helping this system fall into place. Dictators need your help to set this up.
If there’s nothing that can prevent this happening then why post?
Because people have a choice whom they will serve.
The world is moving toward a global “theocracy”, but a theocracy without God. Because man is a moral creature, but he doesn’t want God, so creates his own moral system, and this ends up as a pseudo religion. The whole social discourse today is a moral one.
……
It’s a great tragedy when people don’t realize how thankful to God they need to be.
…..
Christian, if the Lord returned today, would you be ready?
Matthew 25 teaches us that half of Christendom won’t be ready and will be left behind.
“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.” (Matthew 25:11-13)

If I turn my back on Jesus, ignore Him, and seek satisfaction in what He hates, then I deserve all that’s coming to me.

Hell is real because Jesus said it is.

The course this world is taking has already been foretold in the Bible.
Coincidence? No.
……
From God’s perspective, perhaps the greatest pride can only be broken by the greatest humiliation.
…..
If Jesus forces people to follow Him against their will, then why doesn’t He just force everyone in the world to follow Him, seeing as though scripture says God is not willing for any to perish?
We can’t claim credit for our faith, it is a gift, and yet God is not willing any should perish, which means, if anyone perishes it is not because God was unwilling, it means they were.

Some of us would like more genuine friendships, but realizing we can’t push ourselves onto others.

Jesus Christ defines who a Christian is.
Just wearing the label doesn’t mean we match Jesus’ definition of a Christian.

How we “do church” is not the primary thing, it’s whether we are daily growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ which is of foremost importance, however… …how we “do church” will affect our growth in grace, for better or for worse, so it is very important.

There’s been so many wars over history, and there’s more to come, because the human heart has not changed. It’s not realistic to expect things to change when man’s nature has not changed.

Thought Crimes:
Are your thoughts compliant with the regime?
Are you free to express your thoughts without fear of cancellation?
Cancel culture is based on the assumption the cancellers don’t need to be cancelled.

If you really think there is an alternative to democracy, then you better pray your dictator is a benevolent one.
…..
It was God’s idea to remain invisible to man.
He became very visible when He stepped into humanity, becoming one of us.
Yet, Jesus ascended up again, out of man’s view.
So we can learn to take Him at His word, even if we can’t see Him.
Jesus said, those who believe but haven’t seen are more blessed than those who have seen.
“We walk by faith, not by sight.”
……
If you think living by faith is hard, try living without it.
……
There is a common humanity which can empathize with a fellow human in a place of great distress or need, and desire mercy for them. Mercy is the only hope for the hopeless, for they have nothing to bargain with.
Every person is like that before God: Spiritually and morally bankrupt. Hopeless.
But God is rich in mercy, offering hope for the hopeless, extending His loving hand to anyone who will call on the Lord Jesus Christ in truth.
……
When you find the meaning of life in Jesus Christ, you find that your life was meaningless without Him.
It’s easy to prove the world is meaningless. All the stuff going on will soon be gone and forgotten forever. If it did ever have a meaning, that meaning will have dissolved into nothing, gone and forgotten.
The meaning and purpose of your life is found in relation to your Creator.

Why not have full confidence in Him?

We know our pride level by the degree of offense we take when we are lied about or mocked.
If we’re boastful or prideful we must look like such chumps to those who are before the Throne of God in Heaven.

Perfectly at peace with God.
This is the good news of Jesus Christ.

Even if a fraction of one percent of the population repent and turn to Jesus Christ, that’s still a huge number of people.

In Christ’s Kingdom, love and service are in perfect harmony.

Hitler thought he had a moral imperative or obligation to kill every Jew. Over history, bloody religious wars and inquisitions also followed a moral imperative and were justified by the thought it was for a righteous cause. History repeats.

If you do things which God commanded not to, does your conscience bother you?
…..
Christians should use social media for Christ’s kingdom.
Yes?
Less selfies, more Gospel.

We find joy in simple, commonplace things when we appreciate their meaning in relation to God.

Church Meetings:
Consider whether it’s better not to exert your will over others, but to ask the body of Christ present if you can do what you feel led to do? Anyone can facilitate in a meeting, such as, suggesting a course of action, but who has the authority to exert their will over their brothers and sisters? In my experience, when there is this mutual honor and respect the meeting is alive, but where one person wants to control everything in the meeting, even with a good intention, it lacks the blessing of the Holy Spirit.
