Men have always struggled to attain power or authority over others.

But there was one Man who did not…

…Because He already had all power and authority.

God just doesn’t record sins only, He records everything, the Bible teaches. Aren’t you glad the most beautiful, highest, most noble acts of love, heroism and sacrifice witnessed over the history of humanity are all recorded and will not be forgotten in eternity?

Conversely, what a bleak existence it would be if all those lives were forgotten forever?

All the people who ever lived are still “alive”, they still exist somewhere. Each one is known to God, and He has a complete record of their life. And soon they and we will stand together before God’s Judgment Throne to be judged. This is what the Bible teaches.

When we consider what transpired on that little, rocky hill outside Jerusalem, called Golgotha, we see, simultaneously, the most immense love ever witnessed, and the most immense evil or hate ever witnessed. The immense love of God collided with all the evil and hate which mankind could dish out, and Jesus won, defeating the evil, and making it possible for sinful men to be born again as new creations, as true sons of God.

Yet the atonement was transacted within God.

It wasn’t a battle of good over evil, it was something God transacted within Himself, having His own Son bear the punishment for the sin of the world and satisfying and fulfilling God’s law.

There is a false teaching called “Christus Victor” which denies the substitionary penal atonement.

By His death, the Son destroyed the authority of the devil:

“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil”. (Hebrews 2:14)

It’s not as though Jesus had to fight the devil to conquer him. Not like a boxing match. Jesus conquered the devil by not doing what he said, and by satisfying the law, Jesus takes away the power of the devil to condemn or control the one under grace.

Are you consciously always before the Throne of God?

If you are in Christ, then you are seated there with Him, spiritually.

So why wouldn’t you always be aware of the fact and live accordingly?

The Bible says in Rev. 13 the Antichrist will briefly rule the world. Before Jesus returns to rule the world, satan will install his own king as a counterfeit to the King of Kings, and people will believe it because of the great supernatural signs and wonders he does.

Much of Christendom is being groomed and conditioned to receive the Antichrist as Christ.

Any kind of teaching which says Christians/Christianity is going to gradually take over and rule the world is part of the spirit of Antichrist, preparing people to receive “the Christ”.

“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it.

For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

See, I have told you beforehand.

“Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it.

For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

(Matthew 24:23-27)

Those “Christians” led by their natural mind and not the Spirit will see the Kingdom of God in natural or political terms. To them, the coming of the Kingdom means a rearranging of the present order into a peaceful New World Order.

For example, this is exactly how the Pope sees things, believing that all people are children of God and that the Kingdom is here now with the goal of world peace.

The “social gospel” is an integral part of the spirit of Antichrist’s strategy to deceive Christians into the counterfeit Kingdom which is coming.

Salvation is then understood as feeding the poor.

As if when a poor man receives a gift of food he receives salvation.

It’s a good thing to do but it’s not salvation.

Jesus died on the Cross to pay the price for our sins.

If salvation comes by food, then all He would have needed to do was give food to everyone.

As well, the Kingdom is not about being liked by the enemies of Christ, or being popular or influential. That is a false peace.

Yes, God can give you favor with even your enemies, scripture says.

But that’s not the Kingdom.

Gods Kingdom is not some kind of peace treaty with the devil’s kingdom.

Have you heard of any other saviors other than Jesus?

Of course, it would be a joke if someone walked up to you and claimed to be your savior who can remove all your sins and reconcile you to God.

There’s no one in history who could claim that.

Except Jesus.

With the current protest movement will there also come a spiritual awakening?

As the Bible comes to life in the light of current events and trends, perhaps many are checking out the Bible to see if it’s true?

Nazi copybook strategy:

– How to break up a peaceful protest? Send in police to physically assault them, in the hope that some might defend themselves and fight back, and then you can arrest them for assault.

– Gradually change the concept of freedom, so you can take it away without people noticing.

In a democracy you can’t complain too much about the government because it’s what the majority voted for.

Better to offer a viable alternative.
