People might appear very clever, but will they appear that clever when they stand before the Throne of God?

We will decide everything for you! We hope you will be compliant?

A Christian will believe the Bible, right? right?
….. Maybe not?

The time will come when you will be counted as a criminal simply for believing what Jesus Christ said.

But believing any other religious belief will be quite fine.

Jesus “…said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” (Matt. 16:15-17)

“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Cor. 2:13-14)

So, the spiritual man receives the things of the Spirit of God. Everything he knows about God, he has received from the Holy Spirit. So there’s nothing he can boast about. He didn’t figure anything out by himself, it was revealed to him by God.

Now, this truth we’re looking at here, how would we have known it unless it had been written and preserved in scripture?

It is a perfect symphony: God’s word recorded in a book, and the Holy Spirit enlightening us to understand it.

Give Jesus the praise, glory, honor, worship, and thanks He is worthy of.

Judge for yourself if He is worthy.

The Holy Spirit who is in you will give you a job to do. He has a work for you.

Next to Christ, our greatest assets are our brothers and sisters in Christ, for we are one body in Him.

Civilizations rise and fall. This present one is in the falling stage.

Over a generation, it seems, according to polls, the masses have changed their minds about God and morality. Who changed their minds?

“For I have no one like-minded, who will sincerely care for your state. For all seek their own, not the things which are of Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 2:20-21)

If we are not to seek our own, then we shouldn’t be disappointed if we don’t get everything we want.

The Text should speak to us more than the sermon does.

With each new day we come to Him, He is the same, He hasn’t changed, and eternally will remain the same: “Jesus Christ, the same, yesterday, today and forever”. He hasn’t changed His mind toward you.
