Joyful expectancy of His return must be one of the key indicators of our love for Him.

Christian suffering is the suffering of free people.
Other suffering is the suffering of those in bondage.
For the Christian, he is free, regardless of suffering.
Suffering does not bring him into bondage.

The teacher or preacher whom Christ will delight in will be one who is faithful to His message and is yielded to Him in the belief that He will speak through them – that they are His ambassadors or representatives, that they do His will, not their own, preaching His word, and not their own.
And with the belief that God speaking through you doesn’t make you special.
He can speak through anyone He chooses.
He can speak through all kinds of people.
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.” (Acts 2:17-18)

The human mind cannot comprehend itself. As wonderful as it is, it doesn’t have the power to fully understand and comprehend itself. It is beyond science. Your thoughts, your memories, your dreams, your consciousness: these cannot be dismissed as merely chemical or electrical impulses zapping around in that piece of meat called the brain.
It all points to the existence of the soul.
The brain is the hardware for the soul.
Hardware is also very important.
