“Why have young men become more violent?”

“Why is mental illness in children rapidly increasing?”

“Why are drug overdoses increasing?”

“Why are suicides increasing?”

Only the Gospel has the real answer to these questions.

….

What’s going to reverse the trend of ever increasing violence, drug addiction, overdoses, suicides, mental illness, shootings, divorce, rape etc… ??

Will more Liberal indoctrination help?

Isn’t it the cause?

And, if the current trend continues, aren’t you looking at a total collapse of society?

Only the Gospel of Jesus Christ addresses the root causes of evil.

The rest is a Disprin or a Band-Aid.

More Liberal indoctrination only makes it worse.

…..

If the rule of law were upheld then people would feel less of a need to arm themselves for self defence.

The rule of law is not enforced because then the criminals will make a political issue of it by saying they are being discriminated against.

As individuals are transformed by Jesus Christ, one by one, only then are families and communities progressively transformed.

We are accountable for what God has given us.

If He had given us nothing, we would be accountable for nothing.

Accountability or responsibility implies someone has been given something to be responsible for.

According to modern political correctness , any speech which offends the religion or sexuality of another is hate speech.

Therefore, to say ‘Jesus!’ as an expletive would be hate speech because it is offensive to Christians.

So…. here is the great contradiction: Everyone has a right to be offended, except Christians.

Correct?

The great crime of religious Babylon (Rev. 17) is she has misrepresented Jesus Christ to the world. What she has built and what she does, does not represent Him.

Government health advertisement:

This is modern “education”. It points to the real problem, which is Liberal indoctrination of children. And it’s certainly a religion being pushed on these kids. They are being told that there is nothing to be ashamed about becoming a drug addict, but rather, you can be proud that you are. By what moral authority are they moralizing? This is a bizarre cultic doctrine.

Sometimes people talk about their culture as if it’s their fate or destiny to conform to it. Surely this should be a free choice? Freedom to conform to the culture, or freedom not to. For me, my identity is in Jesus Christ. I don’t find my identity in my western culture.

The Bible says, ‘God is love’, and doesn’t say, ‘God is wrath’, however, He has strongly warned us to escape His wrath by repenting and believing on Jesus Christ, therefore, we would want to understand His fierce wrath in the light of His wonderful love, for, if the God of love is angry with you, you know He is true, right and holy to have such righteous anger.

How do we know we really love God? How can we be sure?

“For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.” (1 John 5:3)

Therefore, if we feel His commandments are burdensome, perhaps we don’t know His love?

BTW, “commandments” here refers to the teaching of Jesus and also His teaching through His Apostles, the scripture canon. It doesn’t refer to being “under the law”.

……

“…keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 21)

This verse implies that people can wander away from the love of God, or remove themselves from its sphere.

In this sense, it’s not that there’s a cut off point where God changes His mind about whether He loves someone, it’s just that they dont want His love and remove themselves from being recipients of it.

The dead are judged by God after the Millennium.

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11:22-24)

How does 1 Corinthians 14 work in a traditional institutional church setting?

Have a look.

….

Commented

Official Catholic dogma states that church tradition is of equal authority to scripture.

So, as God’s word is not man’s word, there can never be an equilibrium here.

So, man’s word supposedly carries more weight than Gods word.

Liberal Progressive Christianity is exactly the same.

Comes from the same root.

It’s a true observation that if one thinks they are intrinsically good then they deny the grace of God and deny the Blood of Jesus.

Of course, Universal Reconciliation, which Liberals hold to, believes the sacrifice of Christ has already saved everyone, and therefore repentance and faith is not necessary, more like an added bonus.

…..

Everyone must be thinking. That is, thinking something. It’s hard to imagine people as being vegetables, a vacant space. The question is whether what we’re thinking about is resulting in a transformed and productive life?

Not having time to pray is always a question of God having a low priority on our list of priorities.

The same goes for not having time to think.

The outcome of both is disastrous.

They forsook God and went after idols.

So, in idols, they found a way to avoid God and yet still feel religious.

Religion replaced God.

We can take nothing of this world with us when we leave this planet, but we can take with us all that we possess now in Christ, our eternal inheritance.

Name any person or institution of society which does not seek to influence the thinking of others in some way or form?

Even if it’s as simple as posting your photo: aren’t you trying to influence the way people think about you, or influence them to take notice of you?

Human nature.

I’m not saying it’s always a bad thing, but people shouldn’t deny that that’s what they’re about.

So figure out exactly WHAT it is that people, or government, or the media, the arts, writers, journalists, thinkers, ideologies, religions or sects, are trying to influence you on.

In which direction are they trying to steer your thoughts?

…..

The natural inclination to avoid God is part of the fall we have inherited and a sign of our natural state, from which we need Christ to deliver us.

How would you stand on Judgment Day without the Blood of Jesus?

A Christian can believe that God sovereignly put the government into power, and can also be opposed to the policies of that government.

…..

What is faith for?

Who created the concept of faith?

They arrest Christians for preaching on the streets on the grounds that it is offensive to people of other religions.

But then, to be fair, you would have to arrest all who put on a public display which is offensive to Christians?

“Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

(Philippians 4:11-13)

See verse 13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – The immediate context indicates he means he can do what Christ called him to do regardless of whether others support him, because Christ strengthens him, so that even in need, he is really not in need – his life and ministry never stands or falls upon human support, but is sustained directly by Jesus Christ the Lord.

He can do all things which Christ has called him to do through Christ’s strength: the supply comes with the call.

Now, even though the particular context here is clear, this does not exempt verse 13 from applying to everything Christ calls a disciple to do.

We don’t want to get too clever with our “context, context” thing. Statements can have a much broader application than the immediate context, and often do.

And yet it’s a mistake to think it means we can do anything we can imagine to do, like, ‘I can climb Mount Everest through Christ who strengthens me!’.

If it were Christ’s purpose for you to climb it, for His Kingdom, then no doubt you should go ahead and climb it, confident He will supply everything you need to do it. Otherwise, no. You would be on your own there.

History shows many Christians have destroyed their lives by walking presumptuously.

In fact, I think there even was a guy who believed God had shown him to climb Everest, and he died on the mountain.

Whatever is Christ’s purpose for our lives, we can do it through Christ who strengthens us.

“…The effective, FERVENT prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5:16b)

Therefore, if we lose fervency we should immediately pause and seek to regain it. It would be useless to just continue on in prayer without fervency.

Fervency is not evidenced in the outward.

God is not deaf. He doesn’t need anyone to shout. Nor does He need anyone to pray in flowery religious jargon, or contrived emotions.

We should know by the indwelling Spirit in our inner man if there is a SOLID CONNECTION in our heart as we pray.

There must be an inner witness for everything if the Spirit is involved.

Or, whether it’s more mental than birthed by the Spirit.

The exclusive claims of the Gospel are in fact the exclusive claims of Jesus Christ, Himself.

They shouldn’t persecute Christians for simply repeating what Jesus said and taught.

If they hate the message then they must hate Him, because it is His message

People are free to hate Jesus Christ, or dismiss Him as false or of no account.

X – Saved, as in, if you died this moment, would you go to Heaven or Hell?

Y – Heaven, I hope.

X – Does this mean you are not absolutely sure whether you would go to Heaven or Hell?

Y – I don’t think anyone can be sure, that’s why we have to have faith.

X – Did Jesus promise eternal life to whoever believes?

Y – Yes.

X – Then, if His promise is true, and you truly believe that promise, then you would have eternal life, right?

Y – But it’s not that simple, we also have to be a good person.

X – But how can you be a good person if you don’t believe what Jesus promised?

Y – Oh, I do believe!

X – But you just admitted you don’t have eternal life, but you’re hoping to be good enough to earn it? This would indicate you don’t believe His promise.

Y – I have been in church all my life and no one has ever explained it to me like this. Thanks so much.

Now, apply this to God.

“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…” (Heb. 1:1-3)

“…Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”

“But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”

(Galatians 5:16,18)

If we are fulfilling the lust of the flesh we are breaking the moral law.

If we walk in the Spirit we are not breaking the moral law, and yet we are also not “keeping” the law as one “under the law”.

We are not under the law, and yet we shouldn’t break the moral law and be lawless.

“Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law. (Romans 3:28-31)

“But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!

For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.”

(Galatians 2:17-18)

…..

Things only become a distraction for us if we enjoy them more than we enjoy God.

…..

“Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel.” (1 Chron. 21:1)

We don’t think for one minute that David knew or perceived that it was Satan who was moving him to number Israel.

So, if the great King and Psalmist could be moved by Satan to disobey God, and not know he was being used by the devil, then who are we to think we are immune?

And, the sin in numbering how many soldiers they had was in the fact that the size of their army was irrelevant to their success, because it was God who fought for them, so, in numbering, David was expressing disbelief in God’s power.

The cunning of Satan is he can get people to do things and they don’t know it is him.

If people knew it was Satan who was moving them would they obey him?

…..

The term “lawless” is frequently used in the New Testament.

However, some people mistakenly think it means to not keep the Sabbath, etc…

It doesn’t refer to not keeping the Old Testament ritualistic law, it refers to not keeping the moral law.

Today, the “lawless” person is the sexually immoral, the idolater, liar, etc..

Not the person who doesn’t observe Jewish laws.

The Antichrist is called the “lawless one”.

Your typical Liberal Progressive Christian is a lawless person.

All sin is lawlessness.

No one is without sin.

However, the people who are proud of their sin and openly flaunt it, and promote it as something good are the lawless ones.

…..

You shouldn’t laugh at the physically or mentally handicapped, and neither should you laugh at the morally handicapped.

…..

If life were purely a physical phenomena then you would expect it would be possible to recreate it in a lab, replicating the process by which life supposedly formed or created itself in the first place, or, at the least, prevent things from dying?

……

Whatever you understand about the concept of respect, apply it to God, first.

…..

If the LORD is your help, consider yourself ‘helped’.

…..

Regarding Conservative leaders or influencers who are not Christians, and there’s many of them, such as Musk, Trump, Shapiro, Peterson, Rogan, Gabbard, Prager, Tawhidi, Ngo, Beck, Fox, Oliver, etc. ….

Some might come to the Lord later.

Others might be part of “mystery Babylon” or the “mystery of iniquiry”.

The Antichrist might also appeal to Conservatives, and have something for everyone.

“Mystery” here can mean something hidden so that the spiritually blind can’t see or understand it.

“Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.” (Daniel 12:10)

…..

Excited over Musk?

From a Christian point of view I think we should just be thankful for small mercies.

Conservative policies are better than other kinds of policy in terms of freedom and human rights.

For me, this is how I understand the relation between Christianity and the political world.

For example, in prewar Germany, any other candidate would have been better than Hitler.

And mature Christians hopefully never see political leaders as saviors.

So, we don’t think Musk is going to save us from the NWO, or Trump will save us.

It’s just that we would rather have them than Hitler.

…. and God appoints governments.

And God also notes if His people support evil policies.

Or, support evil by default, by doing nothing about it.

…..

I’m only excited about what God is doing.

…..

Imagine the terror when a person arrives in Hell and realizes they will live there forever?

…..

Imagine God accepting you as if you had never sinned? Well, that’s the Gospel.

…..

The Gospel assumes that those with a conscience will receive it as very good news indeed.

…..

Many people give mental assent to the Bible, but they’re kind of shell-shocked when you apply its truths to real life.

…..

Jesus is the greatest Man who ever lived. No one has had a greater impact upon humanity than this Man.

And yet it’s not cool to believe what He said or even mention His name, unless it is as an expletive.

It’s enough to make you believe the devil is real, eh?

And maybe you should question who decides what is cool?

…..

I guess the ultimate expression or example of tolerance and true free speech is where people blaspheme the holy name of Jesus Christ and they are not hated by Christians?

…..

When will the use of the name Jesus Christ as an expletive be deemed illegal hate speech because it is deeply offensive to Christians?

…..

When you see a video from India or Africa of an evangelist healing the sick in Jesus name, what is your reaction? If you don’t know exactly what is going on, better to reserve judgment.

We can observe some things, though.

  • Jesus and the Apostles didn’t hold healing revival meetings, where they needed to hype people up and manipulate their emotions. They didn’t need to create a show or invite the anointing to come, or even wait for the anointing to come. They healed people anywhere and at anytime.
  • God sometimes gets peoples attention through miracles. Sometimes there are true conversions when people are confronted by the supernatural power of God. And, yet, also, there are countless false conversions by this means as well.
  • Then, our rejoicing in such healings is tempered if we see the evangelist is in love with himself and milking money out of people.
  • And we even get less enthusiastic when the crowd starts worshipping the man and calling him a prophet or apostle.

Conclusion? Reserve your excitement until you see a total change of life, a new creation in Christ.

It’s foolish in the extreme to assume that all healings are by the devil, because you think Jesus doesn’t heal anymore.

And just as foolish to blindly accept everything done in Jesus name as being from God.

…..

The true meaning of life is only in relation to the Life-giver.

…..

All the people who ever lived are still living, somewhere, the Bible teaches.

…..

Our work should be in harmony with the work of the Holy Spirit, and so much so that they are the same work.

If God’s grace is guiding and helping you work, then it is His work, actually.

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. (1 Corinthians 15:10)

…..

I trust you know that God has the power to wipe out this planet in an instant?

…..

To those who fancy themselves to have authority over God’s children, have you ever considered that if you did indeed have that authority it would also mean you have responsibility? You would also be responsible for the sins of that church if indeed you claim to have authority over it.

……

X – Are you always thinking about God?

Y – Who told you that you shouldn’t always be thinking about God?

……

“It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” (Rev. 13:7-8)

He “overcomes” the saints from every nation by taking away their freedom. To function in society they need to take his mark. They won’t do that, so they can no longer function in society. Their life from thereon will be by God’s providential grace alone, totally separate from the financial system. This means that from this point on the saints will be cut off from communicating with one another by phone or internet. They won’t be able to chat again until they are all reunited in the sky, taken up to meet the LORD in the air.

So, be ready for these things. It’s recorded for us so we’ll be ready.

…..

(Ephesians 6:10-19)

We might have overlooked verse 18 as part of God’s way of protecting us:

“…praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints…”

Persevering in prayer for the brothers and sisters you know.

That means not quitting.

And it is part of the armor.

So, in us protecting others, or covering them in prayer, God makes sure we are protected.

God’s armor is God’s protection.

We wouldn’t survive without it.

…..

Are we happiest when we are talking with our Father?

…..

The greatest burden is the burden of carrying the weight of your own sins.

Jesus said, He who the Son sets free is free indeed!

…..

What’s Heaven like?

If you’re going to be living there for billions of years, you might be interested to know something about it?

……

Everything other than the Kingdom of God is vanity and chasing the wind.

…..

By repenting of sin a person is not earning their salvation, and yet without repentance they won’t be saved.

…..

How to “be the church”.

  • Live near like minded brethren. If necessary, move closer to them.
  • Gather in each others homes on certain evenings to pray and study the word.
  • At least once a week all gather to have the Lord’s Table. The first day of the week is usually the most suitable day.
  • Really be committed to these folks, upholding them every day in prayer. Help each other.
  • Groups do public evangelism as led by the Spirit.
  • Let the meetings be “real”. Address the realities of life.
  • At least 2 or 3 men should be co-elders. No one elder makes decisions alone, it is by consensus. The elders need to guide but not control. And they are responsible for order and sound teaching to be maintained.
  • Care for the others, but don’t be a busybody or a meddler in their private life. Know the boundaries set by God.
  • The church should really grasp and obey the order layed out in 1 Cor. 14 for meetings.
  • The children should learn to listen in the meetings. Nothing should be so intellectual that it is over their heads.

Etc….

If you can only do some of this, then at least do that, rather than nothing.

And this is far better than being the audience in a traditional church.

…..

The authority of scripture doesn’t just settle the matter of whether or not there is a “Jesus”, it settles the matter of who the REAL Jesus is, defining the difference between Him, and false conceptions of Him.

…..

Spiritual vision hinges on obedience, and obedience hinges on faith and love, and it all hinges on the grace of God.

Everything is by the grace of God, so there’s no basis for pride.

…..

“By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed…” (Rev. 9:18a)

This is coming. No one knows the exact year, but it might be sooner rather than later.

To be alive to God is to really be alive.
