How would you stand on Judgment Day without the Blood of Jesus?
What if your sins were not washed away by His precious Blood, where would you stand?
…..
The most important issue of your life is your salvation.
The rest is as important as arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic in comparison.
…..
“…How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?…” (Hebrews 2:3a)
Do we comprehend how much our salvation cost God?

All the truth about Jesus Christ is called the GOOD NEWS.
…..
The love of Christ is such that when good things happen to your brothers and sisters it’s the same as if it were happening to you, and when bad things happen to them it’s also the same as if it happened to you.
…..
A Christian can believe that God sovereignly put the government into power, and can also be opposed to the policies of that government.
…..
What is faith for?
Who created the concept of faith?
God.
……
They arrest Christians for preaching on the streets on the grounds that it is offensive to people of other religions.
But then, to be fair, you would have to arrest all who put on a public display which is offensive to Christians?

“Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
(Philippians 4:11-13)
See verse 13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – The immediate context indicates he means he can do what Christ called him to do regardless of whether others support him, because Christ strengthens him, so that even in need, he is really not in need – his life and ministry never stands or falls upon human support, but is sustained directly by Jesus Christ the Lord.
He can do all things which Christ has called him to do through Christ’s strength: the supply comes with the call.
Now, even though the particular context here is clear, this does not exempt verse 13 from applying to everything Christ calls a disciple to do.
We don’t want to get too clever with our “context, context” thing. Statements can have a much broader application than the immediate context, and often do.
And yet it’s a mistake to think it means we can do anything we can imagine to do, like, ‘I can climb Mount Everest through Christ who strengthens me!’.
If it were Christ’s purpose for you to climb it, for His Kingdom, then no doubt you should go ahead and climb it, confident He will supply everything you need to do it. Otherwise, no. You would be on your own there.
History shows many Christians have destroyed their lives by walking presumptuously.
In fact, I think there even was a guy who believed God had shown him to climb Everest, and he died on the mountain.
Whatever is Christ’s purpose for our lives, we can do it through Christ who strengthens us.

The world is okay with spirituality, just so long as it’s not about following Jesus.

A Christian is overjoyed they will live forever.

Grace is all sufficient.
When the grace of God is working in someone’s life it is sufficient.

“…The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives…”
…..
When we approach the Throne of Grace in prayer, do we have much idea, really, of who it is we are approaching, and to whom we are speaking?
…..
Is it only possible for a Christian to be bored if they ignore the Holy Spirit?
……
“…God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did…” (Romans 4:17b)
Religion cannot give life to the dead.
No one can make themselves alive from the dead.
No one can raise themselves from spiritual death.
Only Jesus Christ can do that.

Who decides what is right or wrong?
Whomever decides, that’s your moral authority.
What if the moral authority for modern society is the devil?
…..
“Give honor to whom honor is due.”
Do we give the Lord Jesus Christ the honor which is due to Him?

Life has an amazing array of choices, like what we will do with our time, what we will think about, who we will care about, who we will pray for, which issues will be important to us……

What is the greatest expression of love?
Jesus said it.
‘Greater love has no man than this, than to lay down his life for his friends.’
Of course, it applies to our life, daily.

You might have been raised in a Christian family, but you’re not a Christian until you’re born again and a new creation in Christ.

Not believing God’s word is more than simply a matter of being wrong, it’s a matter of being deceived.
…..
The Bible teaches us the real value of things.

Every question about God is answered in Jesus Christ.

Just watching the sunset and thinking, what would Adam have thought when he sat and watched his first sunset? We see the same sunset he saw, and walk with the same Creator.
