Each new day holds fantastic possibilities in Christ.

…..

The love of Christ is amazing. Families and communities who have this love are like a foretaste of Heaven. Such a contrast to this world.

…..

“And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them.” (Rev. 20:4a)

“Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?”

(1 Cor. 6:2-3)

If we look at Revelation 20 we see that the saints will judge the living people at the beginning of the Millennium.

The dead are judged by God after the Millennium.

…..

Death is not the end.

Death doesn’t mean you are “dead”.

“And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened.” (Rev. 20:12a)

…..

If someone’s pride gets in our face, let’s check whether we are free from pride.

…..

God gave you everything, and He gives you every breath you take. So, it’s only fitting to give Him thanks.

….

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” (Mark 11:22-24)

It shows that God knows us perfectly, and knows, when we make requests to Him, whether we believe or whether we doubt.

He knows us better than we know ourselves.

And this is a fantastic truth if you are His child.

…..

“…In Him we live and move and have our being…”

Acts 17:28a

…..

“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus…”

Hebrews 10:19

……

Whoever you are, wherever you are, and regardless of whatever you are, Jesus Christ can reach you right this moment if you believe.

……

How does 1 Corinthians 14 work in a traditional institutional church setting?

Have a look.

….

Commented

Official Catholic dogma states that church tradition is of equal authority to scripture.

So, as God’s word is not man’s word, there can never be an equilibrium here.

So, man’s word supposedly carries more weight than Gods word.

Liberal Progressive Christianity is exactly the same.

Comes from the same root.

It’s a true observation that if one thinks they are intrinsically good then they deny the grace of God and deny the Blood of Jesus.

Of course, Universal Reconciliation, which Liberals hold to, believes the sacrifice of Christ has already saved everyone, and therefore repentance and faith is not necessary, more like an added bonus.

Everyone must be thinking. That is, thinking something. It’s hard to imagine people as being vegetables, a vacant space. The question is whether what we’re thinking about is resulting in a transformed and productive life?

…..

Not having time to pray is always a question of God having a low priority on our list of priorities.

The same goes for not having time to think.

The outcome of both is disastrous.

…..

When we pray we are most alive. To pray is to really live.

…..

If we forget God, how would we like it if He forgot us?

…..

The love of Christ is uniquely His love, an entirely different kind of love.

…..

It’s only natural to want people to like you, but not to the extent that you’re afraid to tell them the truth.

…..

So, the world’s best male swimmer can also become the world’s best female swimmer if he wants to identify as a female?

…..

Does anyone consider that socialist policies of western governments inevitably end up in financial collapse, and then massive inflation, food shortages, and then the “poor”, who were supposed to have been the beneficiaries, are hit the hardest?

If there is no money tree, then this is inevitable.

…..

“What about all these millions of people, what will God do with them??”

Okay, let’s start with you.

Where will you stand on Judgment Day?

…..

The spiritual realm is a parallel universe to the one you can see with your eyes.

…..

Just quote one verse where Jesus promised you will get rich if you follow Him?

If your pastor preaches this, challenge him publicly.

Of course, the security guards might throw you out.

And if your pastor preaches this he is not a pastor, but an impostor.

…..

Dishonor and shame only comes to Christians if they fail to honor the LORD.

…..

Look at Old Testament Israel.

They forsook God and went after idols.

So, in idols, they found a way to avoid God and yet still feel religious.

They didn’t forsake religion, they forsook God.

Religion replaced God.

…..

We can take nothing of this world with us when we leave this planet, but we can take with us all that we possess now in Christ, our eternal inheritance.

……

Name any person or institution of society which does not seek to influence the thinking of others in some way or form?

Even if it’s as simple as posting your photo: aren’t you trying to influence the way people think about you, or influence them to take notice of you?

Human nature.

I’m not saying it’s always a bad thing, but people shouldn’t deny that that’s what they’re about.

So figure out exactly WHAT it is that people, or government, or the media, the arts, writers, journalists, thinkers, ideologies, religions or sects, are trying to influence you on.

In which direction are they trying to steer your thoughts?

…..

The natural inclination to avoid God is part of the fall we have inherited and a sign of our natural state, from which we need Christ to deliver us.

…..

You would have a very difficult time trying to explain to the original Apostles about a lot of the stuff that’s going on in Christianity today.

……

When we ask for God’s mercy for someone it’s because we are someone who has received His mercy, so therefore we understand it’s their only hope.

……

One definition of a local church is a few families coming together to help one another.

……

Issues don’t really divide Christians, but, more to the truth of it, reveal what kind of Christians we are.

…..

Do not reject the message of the Gospel on account of the flaws of the messenger. That would be stupid.
