When people take exception to Jesus’ exclusive claim to be the only way to God, we can ask them, If you don’t believe Jesus is the only way to God, then, do you know of any other way to God? Please explain your way of being reconciled to God on your own, or by your religion, without Christ’s sacrifice on your behalf? And are you 100 % sure your way to God will succeed?’

Do people take exception to Jesus’ claim to be the only way to God because there actually is another way to God, and by following Jesus you would miss out on this “true” way to God? If there is another way to God, explain how? Will your religion forgive your sins and reconcile you to God?

Godliness or worldliness? These are the options, and this is the choice.

But the actual Biblical definition of these words and not the cultural interpretations of them.

You might say you don’t have a religion, but you have an ideology, and there’s not much difference between the two.

The trend is that government is not just about governance, it’s about ideology as well, and tyrannical governments will not give you the freedom to disagree with their ideology.

There’s no reference to a “worship service” in the NT.

This is an entirely different church paradigm than the examples in scripture.

Someone says the lifting of hands in church wasn’t done in the past.

Better to take our cue from the churches founded by the Apostles after Pentecost. There’s been a lot of hoopla since then.

Paul mentions men lifting hands in prayer.
