Christian, whatever God has called you to do He has called you to do it by the power of His Spirit, and not in your own strength or ability.

…..

No one can do better than the Holy Spirit can.

We shouldn’t think we can do better than Him, implied by our attitude and the way we function.

……

Did you know that the Holy Spirit in you is, Himself, God, and that He’s lived forever and has no beginning or end?

…..

The life which is produced by, and is the outcome of, the fullness of the Holy Spirit, that is the good life.

…..

If we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness then we’ll have no lack of the Holy Spirit.

…..

Why should we ever entertain a thought which is incompatible with the Holy Spirit?

…..

According to such scriptures as this, many who claim to be Christians aren’t Christians at all.

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Cor. 6:9-10)

…..

It’s possible to be a faithful church attender and yet never have fellowship or even understand what it is.

…..

When churches try to create an emotional experience then that’s all they get.

…..

His church loves Him.

…..

“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

(1 John 2:6)

…..

If God in Christ has forgiven all our sins, can we imagine just how many sins that amounts to which He has forgiven?

…..

Our greatest joy should be the LORD, Himself.

…..

It’s a great blessing to understand what vanity is, from God’s perspective.

See Ecclesiastes chapter 1.

…..

There’s more things which God does daily for each person than is humanly possible to acknowledge or thank Him for.

…..

If you don’t care about a particular person it could well be that no one else in the sweet wide world will either.

…..

You’re praying for someone and then you think, Is there anyone who cares about this person’s soul? Do they even care about their soul?

…..

Father, please save my friend, just like you saved me.

…..

If we ask God to have mercy on someone then we should look expectantly for that to happen.

Why would we ask such a thing if we don’t believe it will happen?

…..

If we lived our life but didn’t love the LORD then we wasted our life.

…..

An infinite God is able to know every person on this planet personally and intimately, and love and care for each one. Being infinite, He can hear and answer billions of prayers at once and not get bored or tired.

……

“The natural man’s sin is he wants the benefits of God without God Himself.”

— RC Sproul

…..

With how a church assembly functions, it should not be about who is in control of a church (because the LORD alone should be) but about whom God holds responsible and accountable for the spiritual condition of that assembly.

……

It is only by the grace of God and the sheer redemptive power of Jesus’ shed blood if someone is not held in bondage by the devil to do his bidding.

……

You can’t see God, but you can see the things He has made. Nothing exists which He didn’t create. So, all the things He has made are, themselves, a message to us about what He is like.

And you can see Jesus, His Son.

Jesus said, “If you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father”.

……

Do you have a valid reason not to believe Jesus?

…..

God is utterly good. He is thoroughly good. Absolutely good.

All His ways are just.

…..

Father, for us, time flies by so fast and slips out of our grasp, but for you, you are above time, you are the LORD over time, for from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

…..

“…And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.” (Rev. 21:21b)

That was His idea. He could have made it out of anything, but He chose pure gold for the pavement. A nice touch. A touch of class.

…..

It might be futile to compare yourself with others.

……

To have a testimony of what Jesus has done for you is a wonderful thing.

…..

“When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” (Prov. 16:7)

Wonderful how God has the Sovereign authority to do this in the lives of people who don’t know Him.

……

The solution to the world’s problems is encapsulated in this one statement by Jesus:

“You must be born again!” (John 3:7)

…..

The earliest churches were relational. This meant they consisted of a set of relationships or friendships. If the love failed then the relationships failed and the church no longer existed. But later the church devolved into an institution, and this way it could continue to exist even without love, without true relationship, and without the presence of the Holy Spirit.

……

Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. Let’s take our opinions to God and check if they line up with His opinion.

……

Daily living in His Kingdom means living for the King – living His way – doing things His way – doing His will – doing what He calls you to do – living by faith – experiencing His grace… “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God…”

……

Listen to the Man who rose from the dead.

…..

We were made for God.

One of the vital elements of a life of worship is to be in utter awe of God.

….

Obviously, the LORD Jesus Christ is our ultimate role model.

Now, to think that He had a ministry without the help of social media, and without the help of a religious organization, and without glorifying, promoting and advertising Himself?

It means that nothing can prevent you having a ministry and fulfilling it if God has given you one.

…..

Jesus….

The most beautiful name on earth. The sweetest name. The greatest name. The Holy name. The name with all authority. The name above every other name.

You can also say, Yeshua, if you like.

He’s the same person.

…..

There are only two states of being – either under the grace of God, or under the wrath of God.

Wonderful for some, scary for most.

…..

Do you know what it cost Jesus to purchase your salvation?

……

To be on Jesus’ side means to be on the winning side.

He has already won.

…..

What is the authoritative source of truth about God?

His word.

…..

When the LORD looks down on His people does He see people who really care about others?

The starting point of love is to actually care about someone else’s welfare and spiritual condition.

…..

Seek His face.

…..

It’s very hard to be tempted into something if you think it’s stupid.

…..

Jesus said, the truth shall set you free.

If someone is not free, their only hope is to believe the truth and act upon it.

……

Can you think of a greater blessing today than if God filled you with the Holy Spirit right now?

…..

What would be the point of having a comfortable, pleasant life if you didn’t have the Holy Spirit?

What if you lived in the perfect place with all luxuries but you didn’t have the Holy Spirit?

What is the point of church if there’s no Holy Spirit?

…..

We have time to pray for many more people than we presently do.

…..

The James Webb pictures reveal much more universe beyond the stars they focus on.

The universe is not infinite.

But its Creator is.

…..

We are creatures, but we’re not animals.

There are three types of creatures: mankind, angels/demons and animals.

…..

Only make a small thing into a big deal if you think it’s absolutely necessary. : )

…..

Whoever you are, you must believe you have a soul, right?

You surely can’t believe you are just a bunch of cells, a piece of meat?

……

Christian, our life is only as good as our relationship to Jesus.

Worship

“God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.

Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.

And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us…” (Acts 17:24-27)

Man can’t give anything to God because He already owns everything.

When man looks up at the vastness of the universe does he think he can lend God a helping hand?

Man can only receive from God.

Man must believe God.

A true worshiper of God in Christ understands that there’s nothing they have which they did not receive (see 1 Cor. 4:7).

“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns—broken cisterns that can hold no water.” (Jer. 2:13)

(A cistern was a drinking water tank)

They went after a substitute for God.

This can be in the worldly or spiritual sense: money, fame and sex can be just as much an idol as a religious statue can.

And religious activity can also become an idol, a substitute for God.

How many things in modern life are substitutes for God?

The LORD said, “They have forsaken me”.

They replaced Him.

And in doing so they no longer could drink at the fountain of living water. They were trying to drink from a supply of their own making.

And if you don’t drink the living water then you have no life.

“Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” (John 4:10)

“…What I believe isn’t what’s important—it’s what the Word of God says that matters.”

— Franklin Graham

……

“Deliver those who are drawn toward death, And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.”

Proverbs 24:11

……

Those who caused suffering in times past are now, themselves, suffering a measure of that suffering they inflicted on others, under God’s perfect justice.

……

“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)

We take it to mean, then, that if we don’t seek first His Kingdom and righteousness then these things we need won’t be added to us.

A promise like this takes on a whole new perspective in a time of famine or financial collapse.

“Seek first” means our top priority in life.

To “seek” the Kingdom means a perpetual position of the heart which desires to know Him more and do His will as an instrument of the King, as His servant or emissary, and as a “royal priesthood” making intercession for the people.

……

When people gaze at the wonderful pics of deep space some may wonder about whether there’s aliens out there, while others might be in wonder about the Person who created it all.

“The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples see His glory.”

(Psalm 97:6)

Is there life on other planets?

Some general comments:

  • If God created life on other planets then one thing is certain, and that is they will be destroyed at the same time this earth is destroyed, and then remade.
  • UFOs and reported alien life forms are either angels or demons.
  • The present growing interest in UFOs and aliens is due to demonic influence.
  • Some scientists desperately want life to exist elsewhere, and it seems like their motivation, at least in part, is that they think this would prove the Bible wrong.

Yet, even if they found life elsewhere it wouldn’t prove anything concerning the Bible because the Bible does not mention such a thing.

“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.” (Revelation 21:1)

“Heaven” here means the universe.

So, if there is life on other planets they will go the same way as life on this planet goes, because the whole universe is going to be replaced.

Scripture is silent on whether life exists elsewhere.

But if it does, their days are numbered, as it is for those here on earth.

……

“If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.”

1 Peter 4:15

……

When Jesus returns everything changes, forever. The sinful aspects of this present world will be gone and totally forgotten in His eternal Kingdom. You will not be able to find it there. The stuff which hypnotizes and enslaves the masses has no future.

…..

“…Building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit…” (Jude 1:20)

Many have assumed that “praying in the Holy Spirit” means only praying in an unknown language, but that’s ridiculous, because that would mean when you are praying in your own language you are not praying in the Holy Spirit, and then, if you’re not praying in the Holy Spirit you must be praying in the flesh: just with your own mind, with no guidance of the Holy Spirit?

So, obviously, when we pray in either a known or unknown language we are praying in the Holy Spirit if indeed it is the Holy Spirit inspiring and guiding our prayers into fulfilling the will of God.

So, the text tells us that prayer should be done in the Holy Spirit and not without Him, and that such prayer builds us up in our faith, strengthening our faith.

……

To glorify God is the ultimate, because for this reason He created us, and it’s only through this truth we can know Him and enjoy and be fulfilled in Him forever.

……

Live true to your faith. If you believe Jesus Christ rose from the dead, then you know what to do.

John 5:44

What score out of ten would we get for character?

…..

Everyone needs to get saved.

…..

The pain an unborn baby experiences as it is dismembered is the same as you would experience if someone tried to dismember you.

It’s utterly barbaric.

…..

It would be very foolish to underestimate anything Jesus said.

…..

The only certainty is the word of God.

…..

“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9

…..

Cultural Christians are not born again, do not have the Holy Spirit in them, and their Christianity is limited to an exercise in appeasing their conscience. A person can be quite outwardly religious or spiritual, yet it might be simply futile efforts to appease a guilty conscience and justify oneself, like a mouse on a treadmill.

Now… who really cares about cultural Christians?

Who really cares that they’re lost?

Who is interceding for them and bringing the truth to them?

……

The love of Christ is the greatest thing in the universe.

……

“…If anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.”

(1 Corinthians 8:3)

Glory!!! Hallelujah!!!!

…..

Why would you greet a person on their religious festival if you don’t believe in it?

Wouldn’t that make you a hypocrite, if you’re pretending that it is true just to please them?

If you want to express goodwill to someone it’s better to choose a non-hypocritical way to do it.

…..

Everyone has some degree of vanity, that is, everyone except Jesus.

…..

A mature Christian is a person in which the truth has shaped and influenced every aspect of who they are and how they live.

…..

A prayer life is not meant to be a substitute for working, but it is does make the difference between us doing the King’s work or doing our own work.

…..

If you’ve read what Jesus taught about Heaven and Hell, have you given any thought about how you personally will escape going to Hell?

……

The trick of modern entertainment and music is to make something meaningless appear to have meaning.

The ultimate delusion is if a person is happy without God.

……

True Shepherds:

  • Don’t want your honor, titles or praise.
  • Don’t want your money.
  • Don’t want to tell you what to do.
  • Don’t want to control your personal life or time.

They only want you to grow closer to the LORD every day.
