Spend as much time alone with God as you deem Him worthy of.

…..

If God did not exist, life would be futile and meaningless, and it would not exist in the first place.

If God did not exist, you would look back on all your memories of the life you’ve lived and realize it was all for nothing, for soon you will die and cease to exist, and everyone else as well, so it would be as if you never existed, because all your memories would no longer exist, they would have died with you.

…..

The beauty of creation is really His beauty.

And how would you know something is beautiful unless He gave you the ability to know it?

…..

Hyper spirituality leads to false spirituality.

……

I’ve known nominal Christians who’ve mistakenly equated trusting their church denomination with trusting God. They think they both mean the same thing, so if you trust your “church” then you are trusting God.

Ephesians 4:14a “…that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine…”
.
.

Waiting for the next wind of doctrine to blow in from YouTube and fill your sails and carry you further away from knowing Jesus in reality?

A substitute for Him, and something to waste your life pursuing?

The early church pattern was in a way that people were confronted with reality, because it was relational.

Today, people don’t want a relational church, but rather a way to avoid reality and still feel blessed.

Like your friend the “Apostle”. If he visited a Biblical church they would ask him on what basis he has made himself to be an Apostle? He wouldn’t like that church. He would only like a church which confirms him in the unreality which he has chosen.

……

How we feel about our enemies is a good indicator of how well we know Jesus Christ.

…..

The righteousness of Christ is imputed to the repentant believer.

This means his guilt has been washed away and he’s empowered to live righteously, abiding in Christ.

…..

Right or wrong is always a question of what is truth, and what is a lie.

Whatever is right is the truth, and whatever is wrong is a lie.

To do what’s wrong is to believe and propagate a lie.

……

Are you having fun?

Well, I’m having joy, so I guess I’m not missing out on any fun.

…..

Mercy rejected means you miss out on mercy and get justice.

You want mercy.

You don’t want justice.

Jesus fulfilled the justice so we can receive forgiveness without God violating His law.

In a democracy, if enough people decide something is morally right then it becomes morally right. This is a weakness of democracy.

As to rights, churches also have a right not to perform gay marriages if it goes against their beliefs.

……

An amount of time is allocated to every person.

…..

If the HOLY Spirit is in a person He will communicate with them moment by moment.

Christ is our life.

Everything concerning our being is His business.

If the Spirit of God indwells a person then nothing concerning their life can be compartmentalized away from Him – every aspect of their being has to do with Him, and they should be aware of His approval of every word, thought, attitude and action, or His disapproval.

Novak fnally allowed into Australia, because it turns out that un __ ed people were never a danger to anyone, and the public were brainwashed into believing they were.

Help him/her, LORD, to have a conscience.

…..

Humans know something about love, and even animals know, but we can’t fully grasp what it is, because God is love, and we can’t fully grasp who He is.

BTW, the love of God is totally compatible with the wrath of God. This highlights how limited our true understanding of love is.

From our perspective, God created love, but from His perspective, He is love, so it wasn’t created at all, it’s who He is.

…..

If you’ve got a conscience, that’s all the proof you need that God exists.

Everyone’s conscience witnesses there is a God.

And if there is no God, how do you explain what a conscience is?

How does right or wrong exist without God?

…..

It has been said the “prosperity gospel”, in relation to God, is like marrying someone for their money.

…..

A Christian should never think anything about themselves independent of the LORD. Who are we, as individuals, when we constantly need Him and can do nothing without His help? Without Him we are helpless. What do we amount to, personally, if, without Him, we amount to nothing? We have nothing of ourselves to glory in, only Him.

…..

The Bible teaches conformity to Christ, as opposed to conformity to the world (see Rom. 8:29, 12:2).

If we are conformed to the world, who are we conformed to?

You guessed it.

…..

Read today:

“Paul sees all kinds of sins in himself and all kinds of accomplishments too, but he refuses to connect either with his ultimate identity.”

This nearly hits the mark, but not quite.

“Sins in himself”?

When Paul said, “In my flesh dwells no good thing” and that he denied his flesh, he was not admitting he was committing “all kinds of sin”, for if that had been the case he would have been a hypocrite. As far as Paul’s past goes he admitted he was a criminal. As for his present, he said, “I have lived with all good conscience before God until this day” (Acts 23:1).

It’s true that Paul’s identity was in Christ alone and not in what he had done or not done. He was a child or son of God who also just happened to be an Apostle.

Liberals love to imply that Paul was living in sin because they think it kind of justifies their sinful lifestyles.

Christians love their country, and yet their citizenship is in Heaven.

…..

A Christian can never say they weren’t supplied enough grace to face their circumstances.

…..

If we struggle with prayer there’s no shame in that – it’s only shame if we give up the struggle and cease to pray.

……

“Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.” (Romans 11:22)

Which will you choose to experience, His goodness or severity? Everyone will experience either.

We shouldn’t let one attribute obscure the other.

God is love, and He also is Holy.

Oftentimes the goodness of God is redefined and perverted to mean God will cater to your lusts.

…..

If God is whoever you imagine him to be then all you have is an imaginary god.

….

Democracy is better than the alternatives, and yet it’s also the vehicle through which a society can choose its own destruction.

……

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16)

So, the fool wastes the time God has given him. Implied here that if he wastes his time he gravitates toward evil.

Your spiritual life is your life.

…..

You want to be happy now, but God wants you to be happy through all eternity, and this is His promise in Jesus Christ.

…..

Honor should be reserved for those who deserve it, and not for those who seek it.

…..

It’s good to understand the last days, and even better to understand that today could be your last day and to be ready to stand before Jesus Christ.

……

Ultimately, everything gets settled in a higher court.

…..

With church (assembly) there should always be this sense of what the Head of the Church desires for His church.

…….

The Bible really only has one subject…

Him.

The message is about Him, not us.

…..

A sad part about traditional Christianity is that multitudes think that the traditions they cling to were instituted by God.

…..

The more we comprehend the greatness of God, the less impressed we are with great people.

…..

Paul faced discouragement at times, but he snapped out of it. And to be fair, the things he faced were much tougher than what we face, so, therefore, he had perhaps more grounds for discouragement than we.

The cure for discouragement is to accept with joy the fact that you have been called to be a
bond-servant of Jesus Christ, so unless you are discouraged with Him, then what grounds do you have for discouragement? He will never let you down, so there’s no grounds for discouragement with Him. But if others let you down there’s still no grounds for discouragement because you don’t serve them, they are not your master. Live unto the LORD alone, like Paul did, and discouragement will be temporary, not permanent.

…..

As the Holy Spirit is not materialistic, the materialistic Christian has not much clue about the Holy Spirit.

…..

We sometimes think we are hindered from having a ministry, then we remember that the Holy Spirit is not hindered.

…..

Christianity and the Gospel rests upon Jesus Christ, alone.

And so do you and I.
